Great job Natasha! That reminds me that I need to run the course for my first 'official' 5k the weekend before it happens just to see how I handle the hills.
-
Great job both of you.

I would say try W5D1 would be a good place to start. If you find that too difficult, back it up a week.

Checking in at 49.59...oh so close but still have half the month to go :)
-
Great pace man! Sorry to hear the General caught up to you with his mad skills.

Nice calc. How do you put in your minutes? If you are following the DVD, do you match the length of the DVD workout or do you split it out by subtracting the warm up/cool down and water breaks? Thanks.

lol. it really depends on the weather for sure. At least it is fall now so it should be a little crisper out. But that southern weather sure can change on a dime.

It gets better! :) The 20 minute run is a challenge for sure but you will succeed. I am doing week 7 now and each day is 2.5 miles straight and I find it easily doable. In fact I ran 3 miles straight on W7D2 without any problems. As I like to tell people, if I can do it....anybody can. quite literally.

Great Job pushing through the challenge!
-
Count me in. Already at 40 miles!
-
Great Job sticking to the plan. Life can easily get in the way and it is important to push through.
-
Great Job! Very big victory. Go take a victory lap!

Nice, my recent one was having to buy a new wedding band. My fingers shrunk so now I am size 9 down from size 10.5.

lol, wow, I think there is a different app for that.

The scanner is part of the MFP app. At least it is on the iphone. Yes, it is a very nice feature. Double check your reading though because sometimes it is off.

I make my iced mochas with Blue Diamond Almond-Coconut milk. Make it even tastier. Kind of like a Mounds bar.

Bottom line, I'll keep doing what is working until, as someone mentioned, it doesn't. Then Ill mix it up.
-
Great Job!

Thanks all. Yeah, I'll post my thoughts on Friday. If I don't, that means I'm dead after running 20 minutes  Week six should be interesting as well. I will be in Georgia on vacation so hopefully the weather there holds out. Hopefully the humidity is gone for the winter.

The article is fundamentally true. It is a 200 year old formula and should be updated. Having said that, it is the standard guidelines being used by physicians. The medical community needs to come to task and redefine the calculations used. Again, it is a just a guideline. Kind of like the food pyramid.

Be careful on the sauce. Pesto sounds like it's healthier than red sauce, but usually not. There is a TON of olive oil in Pesto.

Nice job. Next week is week 5 for me. Week 4 has been super challenging to me so I hope it gets better.

Great Job! Keep at it.
