TY! I wear mine there because of having to change from street clothes when I get to work; afraid if I put it on my waistband I would forget at the end of my shift and off to the laundry it would go, never to be seen again:)

] " Amen. And it goes beyond food! Misery loves company and when someone ISN'T eating/drinking/choosing right, they want to make sure they aren't alone. I can't help but get a little sarcastic when people don't respect my answer, "Do you not understand what I'm saying? Do you not know that water is a beverage? Do you not…

I could totally see myself doing something like this so roof rack was ruled out immediately :)

So would adding a trailer hitch be hard and expensive? Again, remember I did admit I am totally, and I do mean totally, not mechanical.

OMG! I am sorry your mother is so cruel, you have my sympathy. Mine was the same way and I hope I am never so insulting to my kids.

"You'd look really good if your *kitten* wasn't so big" Source of such niceness? My darling husband. Pitiful part is I really, really believed him and I only weighed 125 pounds. Pitiful. And the worst part is I am still married to the jerk.

I should have given more info. My new car is a Focus Hatchback.. For me a roof rack would be tempting the fates. I would like to be able to carry as many as four bikes but in reality it would probably be just two. And I am totally not mechanical so it would need to be easy to use. I am thinking maybe something that would…

No miles from walking today but I did get 33 from cycling. It was torture!

I have an Omron and love it. As far as I can tell it does count steps if you walk in place but I am not sure how accurately it does that function. Tips for more steps that I find helpful include parking waaaaaay far away from my final destination as well as skipping elevators at work. When I take my dogs out to play fetch…

Yes we CAN do this! I was lucky enough to get a four-day weekend so I have already gotten a few miles on the "dreadmill" and I know I will be getting more when I hit the mall:)

Took mine to the lbs for a tune up last week and plan on putting it up for the season next week but only because I had a little surgery two weeks ago and don't want to take any chances of screwing things up.

How about a second opinion with a plastic surgeon? This is their area of expertise as opposed to a primary care physician,

Awesome, awesome awesome! First time I ever did a 5K, I usually cycle so this was a learning experience for me. Plan on going back many many times and now that I have a base line time I look forward to doing better next year!

Are you sure this is triggered by smoking cessation and not something else, like maybe a change in some medication? Thyroid issues? I smoked 1.5-2 pl per day for 25 years and quit 13-years-ago. What worked for me was lots and lots of water and tomato juice by the gallon. It took a long time before my body adjusted to the…

Amen sister. not only can the excess skin be unsightly it can also harbor bacteria and lead to nasty, nasty yeast infections. And if you have ever seen one of those you know what I am talking about. They're painful to look at, nasty to smell and I cannot imagine what they must feel like.

Whatever you do make sure you find a board certified plastic surgeon and really, really, really investigate both him and the hospital where the procedure will be done. Don't be afraid to ask for referrals and talk to people who have had this procedure done. Good luck and enjoy.
