I tend to start new life on Mondays ( I am not alone:)LOL:) Why not Sat or Sun? I've read somewhere Mondays are not really good to start, weekends are better, keeps you more disciplined. I agree with that now from my own experience.

I'd say just go with the 1500-1700 cal including exercise and you will be fine.

I am getting back in, signed up for 5K in June. Doing 30D shred now, will start Couch to 5K next week. I love running, it's like meditation to me but had to stop due to ankle (both) injuries.

I learned to let myself indulge from time to time, otherwise it may become depressing to control myself all the time:) But the next day it starting all over again and working out and trying to eat healthy.

I am doing it and just finished level 1 yesterday, starting level 2 today. I do it every day. During level 1 I had two days off unplanned. oh, good one, I was confused for a while, too, please remember they say TDEE includes everything, meaning, exercise, too. I calculated mine and deducted 20% so I am supposed to eat 1600 cal. a day. If I don't work out, I try to stay between 1200-1400.

it was really hard when I started, was out of breath, etc. but by the end of week two things got so much easier.Keep going!!! You'll be amazed at how quickly your body adjusts and becomes stronger.

I try not to eat my exercise calories because I want to see results fast:) I think as long as you have a balanced diet, carbs, protein and greens you are fine.
