Yes, that's how I read it too! I just recently his a "plateau" after losing almost 70 lbs but I think it's because I need to change up my activity and just don't have the time to do it. My body is used to what I've been doing so it needs something new to get things moving in the right directly.

Love it!

Put them in the neighbors trash and pretend you don't know where they came from. Or find a dumpster at some store and dump them there so nobody will know where they came from

There are certain things I can't buy because I know I will devour the entire package in 1 sitting. I just accept that fact and don't buy them...or buy the smallest package possible so I cause less damage. This includes cheese, pringles, pizza...it can get ugly!

I don't like it either. Such a strange texture!

Well, everybody loves bacon so I'd say that in their own misguided way they were paying you a compliment!

My question is, if you are under the care of a dietitian, why are you coming here to ask people with no medical experience for advice? Seriously?!?! Recipe for disaster.

I don't agree but, to each his own! :drinker:

What is the calorie difference in your current weight and 125? I can't imagine it would be that much since MFP only goes to 1200 minimum for a daily goal! I would think you'd cut back too much too fast since your body needs more calories when it's larger to function. Give it a try and let us know how it works!

I drink at least a half a pot of coffee with skim milk and sugar every morning. I've lost 66 lbs so far...36 of that since March 11. Don't see a problem with coffee stalling weight loss in my case.

Before I started my 2nd job I was going to the gym at least 6 days a week. Usually took a day on the weekend to clean house or relax in prep for the next week. Now, I do a walking paper route 7 days a week so...I guess you could say I work out daily!

I don't like to call it a cheat day. There are times in life that you will go over your suggested calorie intake...that's life and I don't consider it cheating. Especially because I try not to go way overboard and I still log everything I eat. How about we call it an indulgence day? And try to keep it down to 2 times a…

Click the HELP link at the top of each page and then type "strength training". The first topic that comes up should answer your question.

I'd say it depends on how it effects you. I cut back on diet soda because I can tell that it makes my arthritis flare up but I didn't cut it out totally. One of these days a new study will come out telling us that we should have been drinking more. It's like eggs...they're good, they're bad, they're good, they're bad!…

Um, where the heck were your parents? I can't imagine letting a kid drink that much soda. My 15 y.o. drinks a lot but not that much. Mostly because I'd never be able to afford it! Good grief! :drinker:

62 lbs, started 26/28 currently in 16's I think it depends on how you carry the weight

I've been on Depo since my son was born 15+ years ago. Not sure if it makes you "gain" weight if you live a sedentary life but it's not been keeping me from losing weight.

If you search "cleaning" in the exercise database there are several options. I don't count normal daily stuff but if it's a deep clean that's gonna take seriousl effort, I might.

Actually, all this is explained when you set up your calorie goals and if you click on the HELP link at the top of every page, the first FAQ is "HOW DOES MFP WORK". Here's a link...check it out! There is tons of helpful information if you just look. http://myfitnesspal.desk.com/

I lost 88 lbs a few years ago and didn't have an issue with sagging skin. This time around, that's a different story. I think the more times your skin has been stretch back and forth the harder it is to retain the elasticity. That being said, I do believe genetics play a role as well so you may be lucky and not have any…

Without knowing your height, weight, calorie goal, etc...I don't think we can tell you much but I agree that you might try ti switch up your routine. Often people get into a rut and eat the same things every day...your body will get used to that and then it can become harder to lose weight. Also change up your…

Depends on how much they would charge. I think my health is worth a little money each month but I would agree that some enhancements would be nice if the service changed to paid.

I was probably about 40+ lbs in before people felt confident enough to say anything about it. Sometimes it feels like it takes longer for them to notice because people are afraid to say anything. Might be afraid of offending you.

Unfortunately, every body loses weight differently so you MUST try not to compare yourself to anyone else and their progress! It's the harsh reality but it's life...not fair! Suck it up! Move on!

Everything is ok in moderation. No need to cut out a certain food just because you are trying to lose or maintain your weight. Just log it and adjust around it.

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/weight-loss-ticker/update_weight Go to your ticker weight data and re-save it...that seemed to update mine.

I never force myself to eat when I'm not hungry. Going under your calorie goal, even by a huge margin, every once is a while is not going to kill you in the long run. In fact, it might even help balance out a day where you went over your daily goal.

Ha Ha, I still eat taco bell and I still eat the same things I did before. Just in smaller qty's and I'm working out almost daily now. I'm not going to cut out something completely or this "lifestyle change" will fail and I'll never succeed at losing the weight for good.
