Nope, I don't bother with 'em, .. very little of most supplements are actually absorbed by the body (ever notice how bright yellow/orange your pee is when you take supplements? That's some mighty expensive pee there, and it's just gets flushed down the toliet!) . Supplements are REALLY expensive! The only one I ever would…

Oh Honey, you can do this! You don' t need a program, the results don't last. You need a lifestyle change. You can do this on your own. Little by little. Small steps. Start slow. Work on substituting all your beverages for water (or no-cals like tea) for now. When you get comfortable with that, make the next small change.…

I suppose it does feel good to get all the poop out. =) And done infrequently, on a young, mostly healthy individual probably causes no harm. But done frequently, is not only expensive, but is harmful. Remember, your filter orgrans like kidneys and liver do an amazing job of cleansing and they are on the job 24 hours a day…

WAY TO GO! Doesn't it feel so great when you realize YOU are in charge of what goes in your body! Well done! =)

Hmmm ... wouldn't have anything to do with product placement ? $$$$$$ I don't think they really care about people, it's about making money... =(

There were a large percentage of users that suffered cardiac damage (heart valve disease) from phentermine. It's known side effects include elevated heart rate and blood pressure, so it should have been no suprise. However, being obese also leads to heart damage, and it then becomes a risk vs benefit issue. Many obese…

Phentermine is a classified Schedule IV drug under controlled substances. In other words you CAN NOT obtain it without a prescription. It's consumption is monitored very closely by the DEA. Do not try the internet to find someone to send it to you. You will not be guaranteed that you actually receiving phentermine, it is a…

Good for you! I'm thinking you should start by asking a physical therapist though. Best wishes to you! =)

You sound good girle... Remember though, you are not getting in shape and staying healthy for anyone but you! ... Right? .... However, if, as a side effect of your intelligence, dedication, hardwork, self confidence, grace, beauty and style happens to make him jealous .... well then, I guess that is something he will just…

Walk away, kick them to the curb, whatever your situation is, end it now. People cheat for several reasons. Because they are too chickensh*t to end the relationship like an adult so they cheat and then wait for you to end it. Other's becuase they are compulsive, they need the constant high feeling of a new relationship and…

I think the above posters (renee and ashlee?) hit the nail on the head. You can't change them. They will only do something about it when they are ready to, and want it for themselves. Everyone here knows that their excuses are just that, excuses, becuase we have ALL used excuses ourselves. I think the difference is that…

In my practice I see patients (adults) weighing as low as 60lbs to those weighing well over 500lbs. BOTH of these extreme ends of the weight scale are suffering from severe malnurishment. The severely underweight eat very very little, and those at the high end of the scale, eat very very high calorie, high sodium, high…

Fluid retention... You lose it overnight with normal metabolism and insensible loss ( ie sweat, etc.) while you sleep, and then of course when you hit the bathroom upon arising.

Best advice I can give ... ask your surgeon! That is the person that knows EXACTLY what condition your abdomen was in prior, during and post procedure. The surgeon will know if there were/are any complications to your case. Remember, no two surgeries are alike, just as much as no 2 people are alike.

If we're voting, I vote "no". Not worth it.. It's a gimmick diet, not a lifestyle. Healthy eatting, getting exercise and slow and steady weight loss is the way to go.

Wow! You have done amazing! Congratulations! BMI can be a tricky number. If you are muscled up your BMI may be higher, but your body fat percentage will be lower. I feel this is where it is important to listen to your body. What weight really feels the best for you? This is all about health, right, not some arbitrary…

First- calm down and take some nice long breaths. What you have accomplished over that year or so, is absolutely AMAZING! You are a great inspiration! Now, what happened today is more scare to your psyche than it is a scare to your overall fitness and health. Why did it happen is the biggest question, right? I think it is…

Hi, I also work 12 hour shifts as a hospital RN... I played around with this for the last two months and finally decided that I would set my activity level to sedentary on mfp, and then on the days I work, I wear my pedometer (it calculates calories as well). I count the calories off my pedometer as exercise calories. The…

nah, I wouldn't ... sometimes that gives a false sense of being able to eat more.

You and I have just about the same weight with the same goals. I absolutely CAN NOT do 1200.. I feel starved.. I suppose it is because I am used to FLAVOR in my diet. =) and I refuse to subside on just veggies and broiled chicken. I have been slowly trying to change my eating habits. But honestly, I know that I will never…

Here's the deal.. With home pregnancy tests it is possible to get a false negative, but not a false postive. HCG is a hormone produced only to maintain a pregancy. It is this hormone that your home pregancy test looks for. You may have had a diluted specimen when you got the negative. The best test, is an ultrasound of…

Aislynne, do you have access to a therapist? I can honestly say from experience, it does help. You have to be ready to purge everything though. All the painfull and embarrassing thoughts need to be laid out there and dealt with. A therapist you trust is a very, very safe environment. Before you start, make a commitment to…

Don't do it!!! All they do is dehydrate you, and lighten your wallet! Your liver is always on duty, detoxing as we speak. Save your money!
