I had a goal of 9 miles for this week. I can't believe that I exceeded my goal......week 1 total: 14.5 miles.

Right now, I don't log condiments, seasonings, etc., it just seem too time consuming. I will try using the recipe tool a lot more though, it should be easier.

Hi from San Antonio!! You've done awesome so far, may you continue to reach your goal.
-
I like that....starting fresh each day. Good luck.

I read this once........Don't reward yourself with food, you're not a dog! That made sense to me as I don't like to think of eating as a "reward".
-
Sending FR. I'm looking forward to reading that you have to say and what you find.

Hi, I'm also from San Antonio (born and raised). I've been on this site for 2-3 weeks and I LOVE it. Good luck to you and all.

All I can say is, WOW!!

I made fruit kabobs (strawberries, bananas and blueberries) and veggie kabobs (zuchinni, red onion and yellow squash) so I wouldn't do so bad, but I still managed to go over on my calories. Not too much over, but still over, which I hadn't done since I joined this site a couple of weeks ago. I'm sure it's bound to happen…

Welcome, fellow Texan. WOW, 73 mile hike, that sounds awesome--I wouldn't be able to pull that off, but lots of luck to you.

I am new here (1 week) and I haven't told anyone that I have signed up for this site. I sign in very quickly in the evenings to log dinner and exercise and then sign out. I have support, but I'm doing this for ME. I would always say that I would NEVER count calories, but I guess like they say, "never say never"!! I have…

Sending friend request. I am new here and can hopefully provide support as well as get support. Good luck.

I usually eat lighter meals and do ANY exercising I can do the day before a weigh in. I will cut the yard or get on the treadmill the day before. I will even get on the treadmill the morning of my weigh in and I have seen the scale go down.......hope this helps.

I recently started to eat more zucchini and yellow squash. I just slice it up and saute it w/a little EVOO and sprinkle w/lemon pepper. I have even made veggie kabobs that my husband will put on the grill.......zucchini, yellow squash, red onion, bell pepper, pretty much whatever you want.

I love using my crock pot. I use it about twice a week, which gives me time for my workouts. Thx for the recipes.

I'm in my mid 30s and have been on this site for less than 2 weeks, you can add me. I need all the support I can get and hopefully I can also provide support to my new MFP friends.

Seems like you are on the right track with good things happening. Your weight/body changes can be the next great thing for you. I'm new here and so far have found so many success stories and so much motivation. Add me. Good luck, it can be done.
-
I've only been on here for 1 1/2 weeks. I find there is a lot of support, which is very helpful. You can add me. Good luck!

It was a lot harder for me to get my workouts done with the kids school/athletic events. Now that the kids are out of school, it's ME time. I know that sounds harsh, but I have to do things for myself. Once I get off of work, I pick up the kids from the summer program and I change to my workout clothes and get started. I…

Day 1 passed me by. Gotta make up for it TODAY!!!

Well, your name says it all......you are determined and that's what matters. I'm new here. I have lost about 30 pounds before I stated on this site, but I've slacked off and need to regain control. Welcome and you can add me. Good luck.

You can add me. I've new here, I just joined last week. I thought I would NEVER count calories, but so far it's making me accountable of what I eat and what a difference. BTW, I like your user name.

The chin up bar actually fits on my door frames, but what I did was wrap the bands around the bar.
-
I almost completed a round of P90X and have been wanting/needing to start up again. I have to use the bands, I'm afraid I will tear down my door frames...LOL. I have always wanted to try Insanity, but I've heard it's very very hard. Maybe one day in the near future I can get my hands on a copy and attempt it. Congrats on…

I am new here also and I refer to this as a journey. Feel free to add me. Definition of journey: passage or progress from one stage to another: the journey to success. We are trying to get to from one stage to another in our lives and to succeed in our weight loss.
