  • Dude, I've noticed this too. People are way friendlier to me. Maybe it's just because we appear more confident and outgoing? I'm the same way though, I always feel awkward making small talk with people I'm not familiar with. I have no idea how I ended up in a sales job, hahahaha. And thank you all! =D
  • A friend of mine got hers covered by insurance because they were two completely different sizes, therefore detrimental to her (mental) health in some form or another. And by different sizes, I mean one is a D and the other a B, and her a small-framed skinny girl.. quite noticeable.
  • Tampa Bay area here, specifically Hernando County. I cannot and will not workout outside in this heat. Maybe night time, but even the mornings now are torturous. And my poor hair. =( Add me if you'd like. =)
  • I have no pictures uploaded at the moment, but I have a very unique looking Siamese mix. His name is Mickey, he's about 6 now and he's the sweetest little kitty ever. Okay, not so little. Also the hungriest. I don't think I've ever seen a cat demolish a bowl of food like he can. He used to be probably 10 pounds overweight…
  • The thing that most people don't understand about Phentermine is that it isn't a magic pill that makes weight just fall off or an "easy way out" - you STILL have to diet and exercise. You still have to watch calories and carbs and work out. The only thing it helps with is it stops your brain from making you feel as hungry.…
  • Sodas - Diet Coke. Not Diet Pepsi, unless it's the Wild Cherry flavor Mayo - Duke's or Hellman's Peanut Butter - Jif Beer - Bud Light Platinum (4 carbs per bottle, I'll take it) or Heineken (when I'm not low-carbing) Ketchup - Heinz. Only Heinz. Not Hunt's. Not that generic store brand.
  • Usually I don't say anything to anyone for fear of embarrassment if I fail, but this time, I'm telling people what I'm doing. I feel like it makes me more accountable, and also lets people know why I don't wanna order that pizza or come over because I have to work out.
  • I have done this as well. I had to go to the pharmacy and show them my driver's license to purchase the Bronkaid, which I took with No-Doz. Honestly, it made me crash HARD at the end of the day, and I had severe mood swings and lots of other not-so-nice emotional side effects. It didn't physically harm me (at least I don't…
  • Red Bull Total Zero. I tried giving it up today. Lasted about 35 minutes. I've been good about my diet, not eating the way I used to, not drinking as much alcohol.. but I can't seem to give up the damn Red Bull. =P
  • I've had people on here say don't stretch too much, but the only thing that got me through it is making sure I stretched before and after. My legs were very sore after the first day, but not so much after the second and third days.
  • I'm in, will update when done. =)
  • Well, yes and no. From what I've seen, as long as it's in moderation and gradually, you should be fine. Just monitor your intake and watch the scale. If you start seeing a gain, you know that's your max amount of carbs your body can handle, and that's the number you should stay below to maintain.
  • Yes, doing it now and have done it in the past. The most important thing with keto is that you can't resume eating carbs the way you used to before keto when you reach your goal weight. That was my biggest mistake, and why I'm here now starting over. It definitely works though, and I really enjoy the food involved. You…
  • I look at old pictures of myself, then look at myself in the mirror. Or I think about all the cute things I wanna wear when I go out, but then I look in my closet and realize "Oh, that's a size 9, and my fat *kitten* ain't getting in that". When it comes to working out, I just do it. I push myself through it, and I feel…
  • Done, thanks for the idea! =)
  • Hey girls, I'm 21 and my name is Nikole. I'm married with no kids (unless you count the cat, who weighs as much as a small child) and currently working full-time at a cell phone store. Planning on going back to school sometime within the next 7-ish months, probably for paralegal. I currently weigh 185, down 20 from my…
  • The planks kill me too, but more in my legs than my arms. I just follow Anita and do the best I can do with it. If I have to stop for 5 seconds, I stop and then get back to it. If you feel that the pain is more in your joints than your muscles, maybe you should consider a different modification, but as long as you know…
  • I'm taking back my cute clothes, my love of fashion, makeup, and all things girly, and most of all - my confidence and self esteem. A little bit more energy and endurance won't hurt either. =)
  • I just drink vodka and club soda with lemon. I saw a great recipe on a low-carb website for margaritas using just lime juice, splenda and tequila that I wanna try too. Also, some of the liquor stores carry "skinny" drink mixes. Try those out. =)
  • I do the exact same thing. Do you think we're gonna regret this later on? Lol.
  • Yes. When I first started trying to lose weight, I was really good about getting on the treadmill for 30 minutes a day. Did it 5 times that week. Then the following week, I allowed myself a day off and that day turned into a week, and then I didn't work out at all for a few weeks. Now I'm doing Jillian Michael's 30 Day…
  • I'm in. I need to remember to drink water when I'm home. When I'm at work, I have no issue drinking water but at home I just seem to forget. Omitting July 1, 2, 3 because I just don't remember. July 4 - 1 glass (off work) July 5 - so far almost 34 oz (plain water)
  • I'm currently on a doctor-supervised weight loss program using Phentermine 37.5mg once a day and a once-a-week b12 shot. I did this several years back and lost 40 lbs within 2 1/2 months. I then moved in with my bf and gained it all back because I decided eating what he eats was easier than eating healthy (that didn't go…
