I completely understand that one. I am in the exact same situation. I've been trying to get started but keep stumbling. But FR sent, and anyone else can add me as well!

I completely understand about food. I get lazy in the afternoon, then bored, then hungry. What's sad is I understand the trigger, just can't consistently crack the lazy part. But feel free to add me. I would love to try and help!

I've been there done that with the school/work thing. It was a pain. Trust me I feel ya! Anyway FR sent. Anyone else can add me too

Hi there. I remember when I was in school. It did a number on me with bad habits. I'm still dealing with them 5 years later. So I do know what you are going through. FR Sent and anyone else can add me

It depends on tat of what, where, and on who. It can so go both ways

Hi. I WAS full time in the army, now a reservist. But I work in the real world as an AF civilian.
-
Yes, it does help. Actually it's the easiest way to enter recipes right now

Your biggest problem is wearing TOO much. Believe it or not you can get some nasty heat exhaustion on a long run when it's 40F outside. So if you're freezing your butt off when you start, it's ok. Remember it's only cold the first mile. Wear moisture wicking clothes. Bring thin gloves that don't hold moisture and be ready…

I have had a fitbit one for probably 2 years now. I love it. I prefer it over the flex because I can keep it in my pocket rather than wear a bracelet. Plus I hear it's more accurate.

I've been there before...moving overseas to somewhere you weren't exactly in love with. But I did find there are always some interesting things if you just look. Getting out is the first step. I never would have thought about it when I first got to Kuwait, but there's a bit of feeling of accomplishment running a half…

Hi there. I actually have the same problems, only as the day goes on I get lazy and want junk. Anyway FR sent

I have done it before. More than once. When you work out hard, your body pulls blood from other sources to feed the heart, lungs, and working muscles. Your stomach is somewhere it pulls from. If there is too much solid material in there for your stomach to manage after blood is diverted away, it gets rid of it. On the plus…

So your soleus is cramping up. I've had the same thing, though not nearly as bad. What helped was a combination of bent knee calf stretches (instead of straight) and while lifting, seated calf raises.
-
How exactly do these cramps hurt? Is it the back, side, or front of the calf? I ask because if it's back or side, it's probably water/electrolytes. Compression sleeves on your calves may also help. But if it's the front, then it might be shin splints, which means you're likely wearing the wrong running shoes. I doubt it's…

I completely understand. I'm in the same boat. FR sent. Anyone else can add me as well

Hi everyone! I'm Jake and live in SW Ohio. About a year ago I was on a good roll and got down to right about 195 and then fell off the wagon. Now I'm fighting to get back on. I actually am looking for support that will actually call me out when I get lazy. Anyone can add me!

That's such a hard one. Really the answer is what works for you. Personally, I feel all sorts of dehydrated if I don't have over 20 a day. I know some that feel bloated at 10. So it depends on the person. Do you feel thirsty? Do you cramp up when working out? Do you feel feverish? Does your pee smell like a dirty cat box?…
-
I'm exactly the same. More freedom to do it your way.

I've been in your shoes before: in school while waiting tables. It was a pain and not always the easiest to stay consistent. What I found worked better than anything was work out at home (calisthenics and running). Not ideal but it worked. Feel free to add me!

THIS! It's a miracle tool!

Hi Allison, I also have bad ankles that I am working through, and have had knee issues in the past. As far as the knee issues, those went away pretty quick with 2 things: 1. Got fitted properly for running shoes. I am an overproner so I need shoes designed for those. Plus I use the green superfeet insoles for them as well.…

Oh give the guy a break! He's just using the personality the marines gave him

I've heard lots of arguments and reasons for both. Personally I prefer weights then cardio because there's more risk of injuring yourself swinging around large heavy objects than running around the block a few times. Therefore because there's more risk of injury with the weights, I prefer to do that while less fatigued.…

Where does it hurt going from your ankle to your knee? And what kind of a pain is it? Is it more sharp or dull? The reason I ask is I sometimes get a dull ache that goes from my ankle up to my knee along the inside and outside of my calf. Basically it's my soleus muscle swelling with nowhere to swell to. Compression…

Feel free to add me. I get on daily. I just need someone to call me out when I forget to log my food haha
