I was keto for a month, lost 20 lbs, then decided I wanted more variety in my diet. Now I count calories and eat whatever I want within reason. I still try to make "good" choices though.

Wendy's chili or Chick-Fil-A nuggets

I lost 55lbs to go from a 22/xxl to a 14/xl.

Technically I haven't banned any foods, yet there are some foods I don't think are worth the calories anymore. Like I used to eat normal donuts but now I won't eat just any donut, I want an amazing delicious donut that's worth the calories if I'm gonna eat it.

I really like Atkins bars, the chocolate peanut butter is delicious. I've never done Atkins diet so I was kinda weary but they're good!

I had cellulite on the front of my thighs. I lost around 55lbs and it disappeared completely - though I was exercising daily, so that probably helped.

Same here! My starting weight was 267 and current weight is 252. My main goal is to just get under 200 and see what happens from there.

I never go over unless I'm having a treat day. Or on days where I go over I typically try to eat that much less the next day. Every day I aim to be under, though, and usually am by 5-50 calories.

Do you have a food scale? You could still eat macaroni and hamburger helper. Just measure out 1 serving size for yourself. That's what I do and have lost a good amount of weight.

I eat a Toufayan bagel everyday and have lost almost 40lbs lol. I am obsessed with the everything bagels! And I use whipped cream cheese at 50 cals per 2 tbsp. The calories aren't horrible (and yes, I weigh everything!)

I have applied for a ton of "high school degree required" jobs and get excited when I get an interview because "I have a college degree!" Then I get to the interview and learn everyone else interviewing has a college degree, too. Lol. Kind of false advertising, no? However, I don't think you need a college degree to be…

Yeah I'm working a job that doesn't really require any skills and 2 of my coworkers don't even have geds/hs diplomas. This is true for me, too. If I could go back, I would've gotten a trade.

Make sure you eat enough during the day. 100% of the times that I binged was because I waited too long to eat so I felt famished. Following IIFYM helps me immensely. Every day I eat a little something such as candy or ice cream so I don't crave such things anymore since I eat them regularly.

I'm almost 5'11, 232 lbs and size 16 pants.

I've lost 35lbs so far... zero exercise involved

I don't ban any foods, HOWEVER, there are some foods with such a high calorie amount that I can't justify eating it. Not worth it IMO

I know everyone copes in different ways. When I left a long term relationship, I stayed single for a long time and didn't even think of dating. I focused on myself and that's when I lost the first 60lbs using MFP. I was going to the gym every day and looked amazing (if I do say so myself lol)! I was the happiest I had ever…

Exercise willpower. I don't cut anything from my diet or restrict any foods. If I really want something, I'll find a way to work it into my day. My work always provides pizza and I usually a) don't have any or, b) have 1-2 pieces and fit it into my calories. Maybe pre-logging your meals will help you?

I know exactly how you feel. I have lost 32lbs and still wear the same size clothes lol they just feel a little looser. It can be so frustrating!
-
I've lost 31lbs with bars and shakes, mixed in with proper meals, of course. I usually have each once per day and find them really convenient. I haven't had the biggest appetite when losing weight so they've kinda been a life saver for me.

When I was a young child, we lived with my great grandmother who lived through the Great Depression. She also raised my dad. It was expected to finish all the food, to the point where everyone would take pieces of bread at the end of the meal and wipe the plates clean. It's really sad to think where her thought processing…

Good job everyone! 2 years ago I lost 55lbs and gained it all back, plus some. Recently I lost 31lbs and regained 9... getting back on it today!

Lol! My husband is one of ^ those ^ too :) We live about 30 miles west of br but both work here.

I watch this show. I think she likes being fat because she loves being dependent on other people and loves the attention. Examples: she always gets attention for being fat (recently she was stuck on the ground and needed help from her boyfriend), her parents are constantly taking care of her (shaving her legs for her..…

I used to cheat all weekend, every weekend and it would wipe out all my progress during the week. Now I typically have one cheat meal on the weekend, and try to be mindful of what it is. (I dislike the word "cheat" but don't know what else to call it).

I find it pretty normal to have a growling stomach if I had dinner early and go to bed late. There's only been a handful of times during this process that I felt starving - light headed, nauseous, weak - because I waited too long to eat.

When my husband proposed to me, I was at my highest weight EVER. I was disappointed but all I wanted was to marry him and everything else fell away. Before our wedding date I tried so hard to lose weight and it just didn't happen for me. So, I got married "fat." Again I was disappointed but the joy of being married to him…

The first time I was on MFP, I lost 60lbs just counting calories. No exercise. It definitely works! Personally I feel more motivated when doing both.

I don't do cheat days anymore because I kept gaining then losing the same 2lbs every week. Now I just fit treats to my daily calories and it works sooo much better for me.
