  • I do 1400 but most days never get near that. 1100-1200 is closer to the mark. But, I never eat more than one packet of oatmeal, although I do usually have a banana or peach sliced up in it. I am down 29 and have about another 70 to go. I am never hungry and if I get hungry I have some veggie or a piece of fruit.
  • I have a pool so I use it daily. Since I have a torn meniscus in my knee, I can't walk much. So, I walk in the pool. Kind of boring so I put my earpiece on and talk to friends or put the TV on loud or listen to music. I do about 15-20 minutes of walking in water up to my chest, I then go to the deep end and bike ride in…
  • I weigh daily and am prepared for the occasional bumps. Had a two pound gain over a couple of days but that only inspired me to workout a little more or a little harder. It worked.
  • I am reading An American Son by Marco Rubio. It is a delightful read which gives good insight to the man.
