Then dont go to the gym. Find something else you like doing that is fun but still exercise. Try going for a walk, skipping rope, wii fit or other "games", zumba - anything to get moving again. Good luck sometimes motivation is hard to come by. :smile:

Mine didnt go mushy in the fridge, did you add more water? Its really thick when you mix it, or maybe its the protein powder you used?:smile:

1\2 cup greek 0% yoghurt (or more if you like) mix in 1 tbspn of almond butter or peanut butter. Add splenda or honey if you like it sweeter - I dont bother. Its quick easy yummy and has lots of protein:smile:

I planted potatoes this weekend (live in Alberta so its later here) and definetly worked out! I agree though that mfp overestimates calories burnt for some things. However it does know how much you weigh, how old you are etc., so its probably closer than generic estimates:smile:

It doesnt matter what time of day or what you are wearing as long as its the same every time. Therefore your 1lb loss is probably due to the fact that you took your shoes off. If you weigh them you will find that they weigh at least that much. Good job not putting weight on during your vac though.:smile:

snack on celery, carrot sticks, sugar peas broccoli etc. It wont break the calorie bank and is good for you:smile:

you may have shin splints but that doesnt mean you cant do strength training arms, abs, chest etc. That would burn some cals so you can negate some of those extra calories:smile:

try a fiber 1 oats and chocolate bar its sweet and chocolately and while its not actually good for you at least theres lots of fiber in it:smile:

Anything from Kashi cos they have more protein. Tried oatmeal and was hungry after 2 hours cant see how it keeps people full for a long time :smile:

When you make it home try buying flavoured coffee - we get a caramel in Canada which is a nice change. Creamer can also be artificial or powdered (ie coffeemate) but you probably dont get that in Ireland either:smile:

try a protein shake or smoothie for breakfast. Its easy cos you dont have to "eat". I like the strawberry or fruit ones as I cant stand fake chocolat taste. And yes, you do need to eat regularly. Dont give up. You can do it. Not everything works for everyone, so try different things and see which one works. That way you feel as if you are doing something about the problem. Of course when you dont have much to lose its much harder. I lost the first 10lbs easily but now its sooo slow coming off cos I only need…
