Im currently studying kinesiology and i can tell you that although we do learn about nutrition and know a decent amount of information in regards to issues with the stomach, your best bet is to FIRST see an M.D. The doctor will likely be able to determine the cause of your spasms more readily. After that, if you want to…

Just FYI, tight hamstrings are big part of back issues, but it depends what the cause of the pain is. If you suffer from excess lumbar lordosis (curvature), then tight hamstrings are NOT the issue; it is likely your hamstrings are not strong enough. If your suffer from reduced lumbar lordosis (a.k.a. flatback), then you…

Do you know what the cause of the lower back pain is? Because then you can do simple lower back workouts to help strengthen the injured/painful area?

Once sodium is in your body there is not way to cancel it out. You just have to wait until you pee it out. And as for drinking more water, it will not counteract the sodium, but it will help keep your fluids in balance and prevent dehydration from the excess sodium.

Hey, It sounds to me like you just have crepitus. Crepitus is defined as 'joint noise'; it usually occours because of limagments or tendons sliding over one another throughout your range of motion. Now, if you feel any pain or instability in your shoulder then there is likely a deeper problem causing your crepitus (such…

Its actually 1g per 1kg of body wieght...not 1lb, thats just a marketing scheme used by supplement companies to persaude you to use more of their product. MFP is likely basing their macro distribution from several studies which show that the average person requires about 1g per 1kg of protien for a healthy diet. Studies…

Hahaha, what an awesome response! ...As for me, i do it before simply because after weights, i do not want to. Added bonus: doing cardio before weight training acts as a warm up...
-
Have you tried weight training to increase your muscle mass (which raises your metabolism)?
-
Yes it does get easier...your body adapts to waking up fast. It will help alot if you go to bed ealier and make sure to get a solid 8 hours of sleep Also, if you actually get out of bed and start moving around then you will find it much easier to go

Personally, i try to stay away from aspratame just because its not natural....sugar is, so occasionally i will drink juice or regular dr pepper (1-2 times a week). Other than that, water and milk for me :)

Agreed, that is terrible....and, more to the point, how exactly do you know what is right for another person's body?? The lady might be choosing to lose weight by raising her metabolism through muscle gains. Ive done it before. That point comes from a very narrow minded person....

I go to a very crowded student gym on campus, so here are mine: 1. People that pointlessly and needlessly drop the weights from a large height as if they were trying to draw attention to themselves...cant stand it 2. People that ranomly stop walking when your walking behind them 3. People that grab weights from a rack and…

I do a four day split at the moment....day 1 - cardio, chest, shoulders, triceps; day 2 - back, biceps, grip (forearms); day 3 - cardio and legs; day 4 - rest ....although if i feel run down, then i throw in another rest day. It generally happens every 3rd cycle or so

try chia seeds, you just sprinkle them in your meals and when exposed to water, they form a fiberous gel that is low in calories and fills you up....so you end up not feeling as hungry and eat less
