That is so awesome! I am looking for an elliptical now and I was curious what kind you have and if you recommend it.

I was at 1200 to start and exercising 5-6 days a week and I was losing 2 lbs/week. If you eat too few calories consistently your metabolism will adjust and slow down storing fat instead of burning it.

Me too! I watched the cardio abs cuz I'll be doing it on sat it looks awesome! I can't wait to do the fit test again to see my progress.

That can happen with a really hard workout, especially if you are weighing yourself often. You are doing great just be patient and keep up all your hard work and you'll see the results. :)

I was 295 now I'm 171 can I ask how is your skin reacting has it been shrinking with you or do you have the floppy stuff. I'm just curious cuz I'm still on the floppy side and I'm hoping it will go back on its own.

People that say it is a curse or hex are being silly. I have had my husbands name tattooed on my arm for 11 yrs and everyone said the same thing youre only 17 theres no way you'll be together forever. F 28 5'6" 234 150 (currently at 172 62 lb loss) Took 30 weeks Started at 1200 I am currently increasing my cals to tdee minus 20% will put me at 1900 I ate back half my cals at 1200 but now I am not because they are already figured in.

Try starting with the heavy amount and if it seems like to much and you notice gain switch to the moderate amount you just have to tweak it to what your body is telling you.

I tried cooking with tofu for the first time today and it was a success I will be using it way more often. :)

I am a 28 year old mother of 3, they are 3, 5, and 7. In the morning I drop off the oldest at school, when we get home I sit the younger 2 down to breakfast and I do my dvd currently using jillian micheals ripped in 30 at this point they know to go play in their room til I'm finished.

If you are trying to lose weight you should net 15-20% less calories then your tdee. Look up a tdee calculator and find yours. If you input your exercise activity just make sure you take into account that the number you get has your exercise cals back in. I always figure myself as sedentary and then figure out my exercise…

Love this, I'm the same way I do the biggest loser workouts and im doing ripped in 30 right now.

I'm one of those who is worried about inaccuracies in cals burned so I eat back 1/2 of my exercise cals.

Wow! I was 295 lbs down to 234 when I started on mfp this past june with a goal of 150 lbs. I'm now down 47 lbs just 33 more to go I've been a bit less confident lately but this has definitely boosted my resolve. Awesome job!
