SW 250.5 CW 247.8 for a 2.7 pound loss. I have averaged 1.2 pounds per week for the last 20 weeks. My work level will keep going up but it is hard to believe that I will make similar progress this week. Nonetheless, I am thrilled and won't let up a stitch. Keep the hard work going my good friends. It only works if you work.

I lose the ability to follow spoken word stories when my HR gets above 80% and my thoughts just float. Like skipping stones on a pond. Part of the magic for me. Music lets me come and go which is great.

Isn't it great. I found the more I tracked the numbers and analyzed my progress and responses, the more focused and better results I got. Keep the track rolling and enjoy being able to burn calories lay the bushel.

I like the analogy with weight management like money management. Every penny saved counts even if it seems minuscule at the moment. I am finding to that I am now gaining interest on my past hard work which helps me work harder and smarter today. Takes time and consistency.

Just do the basics every single day and accept that many days you won't feel like it. Cannot leave success to just feeling like it

There's a cardio rap station I use on Pandora. Occasionally I use the classic rock cardio too.

It is strange that my breathing is great as long as I don't think about. As soon as I notice it, either good or bad, I start puffing. I trained with respirators for work and had a similar problem especially with on-demand supplies. My focus seems to need to stay on my form and foot pace.

The race is a 200 mile team race with 14 check/relay points and many thousand runners. I understand the restriction in this case.

That website sounds perfect. I need music for my daily elliptical and struggle to find the right playlist. My HRM is enough gadget for me though...the Zombie app seems too distracting until I learn to sustain a pace. I almost feel like I'm learning to drive and couldn't even flip my cassette without almost crashing.

30 lbs since late June. My goal is set for 2 lbs per week but I'm averaging 1.2 per week which is perfect for me. Time passes and efforts accumulate like pennies in a piggy bank. Don't lose patience. Hard and consistent work always pays.

I wouldn't question it but I found that I cannot watch TV on the elliptical and still work hard. Music is perfect then and keeps me pumped. Hiking I can pace and work hard with and without music but running is new for me and surprisingly difficult. My next run, I may try without music...problem is I use Digifit to give me…

SW 250.5 CW 247.4 Ran today for the third time in my life. Did 4 miles with an average pace of 12:25 min per mile and a calorie burn of 969. TRX after lunch

SW 250.5 CW 249.6 Weight bounces daily so I am up a pound from yesterday but that is normal after my larger than normal workout. Today was a "rest" day: Friday AM Cardio - Elliptical 34 minutes and 534 calories burned and today completed by 18th straight week of working out everyday before work. 5AM has never been so kind.…

Happens to me for time to time. I use my running shoes because the texture of my foot pads irritates my soul even through socks. I found that if I keep my foot moving, including lifting my heel, it helps. I think that because the foot is relatively fixed that it doesn't pump like it does when running. I also make sure not…

SW 250.5 CW 248.8 Thursday AM Cardio - Elliptical 90 minutes and 1564 calories burned. Keep it burning and push a little harder today. Waiting for tomorrow is just giving up on today.

Thanks for including me. My starting weight (Monday 11/5/2012) is 205.9 lbs.

Fantastic progress. Keep it going because the payoff from the hassle is so great.

They work best for focused workouts. Fitbit does a decent job of tracking your daily activity. I use both daily.

Thanks

Thank you...I am fluent in typos since I do enough myself.

Sounds like your moving enough for work. I'd avoid exercise except on multi days off from work. In a couple weeks, you'll adapt to the work load and can increase with exercise. I would guess the main problem is your food choices and that you're grazing during work. If you're eating too many carbs (bread, potato), you're…

Generally when I travel, I have lots more time in the morning which is a great time to workout. Food choices can be hard but what is hard is usually the most room for true opportunity

Weekends are a challenge and I attack them the same way I do anything else tough in life. Bigger the challenge, the more attention I give them. I try and use the extra time flexibility to get monster burns into my week. Weekends have gone from the anchor to my week to the superstar days in my week. Events still happen and…

I do them together with cardio first for a warm-up (low intensity) then I lift once I am warmed up and then another low intensity cardio session to keep the blood pumping. I have found this is a great way to avoid the pain of lactic acid build up. I use a HRM and keep my heart-rate for the low intensity in the 60% to 65%…

For me I find myself leaning forward and I focus on keeping my hips open and my posture straight. I also find that I try to keep myself still and not bounce so much. The bouncing seems to be a cheat where I am using my weight more than my muscles to keep the momentum going. Mine has adjustable stride length so I have…
