I said this in the other thread too but - CONGRATULATIONS! Twins are an amazing blessing :) It's okay to be shocked, you'll get over it and become excited - I promise. Twins are a very cool journey to watch - each time I watch someone have twins I am so jealous, it's such an amazing bond. Definitely seek out a multiples…

Wow, twins! I am so jealous - congratulations! It's okay to be shocked, it's a lot to take in, but iespecially if no one else has said it - congrats!! I always have fears going into appointments even with regular movement. I am just a worrier.

Congratulations on your little boy!

I -love- my belly bands and last time wore it all through pregnancy. If it's rolling up it's the wrong size (BTDT, haha!). For me it lets me use maternity pants that are also too big, since I was a lot bigger when I had my daughter than I am this time. (only 10lbs heavier but not working out so fluffier if that makes…

I picked up a lot of second hand clothes - 2 pairs of capris, 3 tank tops, 2 shirts, 1 workout top, 1 maternity running skirt (not used, so 35) for less than $100. I .. still have body issues and wearing clothes that were too big exacerbated them. My aunt also bought me a couple tops and my best friend bought me one when…

Overweight and obese people have healthy babies and healthy pregnancies all the time. Don't beat yourself up - I don't know if you're religious but I firmly believe sometimes things are out of our control for a reason because certain individuals are just meant to be here. My kiddo is not planned per se because I was told…

It's not intentional, I thought I'd be closer to 5lbs by now. But I eat according to hunger and absent those cues try to at least hit my cal goal unless I feel sick. I figure I'll probably gain more in the second half and once I hit the third trimester.
-
Oh gotcha - lol! That makes more sense, I was like - nooo I swear, I don't starve myself! =)
-
I don't restrict, if I'm hungry I eat! It's just a general thing to aim for.
-
That's great! I'm so glad to hear all was well. And oof, doctor office scheduling errors. That part stinks!

We used a bassinet for my daughter, which I loved before we started cosleeping. (I wasn't comfortable cosleeping with a teeny itty bitty while I was on pain meds recovering from my csection) Having her next to the bed made me less paranoid because I could hear her breathe and it made nursing her easier. It rocked too so I…

I hear you!! I know what I'm hving and I still get irritated. People keep telling me, "Oh how wonderful - a boy and a girl - now you don't need more kids!" "Oh, I'm so glad you got what you wanted!" and otherwise assuming that a) having a boy fulfills my purpose in life and b) we wanted a boy because our first is a girl. I…

My doctor counts gain from starting weight, so you may want to clarify it - it wouldn't have occurred to me to count if from the lowest point but only your doctor can say how he is calculating it.

Like others have said all pregnancies are different! My first one I threw up 12-15+ times a day and lost a ton of weight until like 36 weeks. (Stopped throwing up around 34-35 weeks.) This one I was scared at first because all I ever had was severe nausea and no vomiting - and I could keep food down! There were even foods…

Let me know how it goes...I have been super super thinking about even though I know it's probably more than I can handle...just dislike my ungroomed state :P

What a cute bump! Here are two of me: 18 week picture - self shot in my (icky!) bathroom mirror. I don't know why, those streaks never go away! And me after today's race! :)
-
That is very true. I was anxiously awaiting "quickening" (what a funny term!) because movement is so freaking reassuring. I've been prone to unreasonable panic this pregnancy so have been known to grab a glass of chocolate milk or something of that ilk just to go lay down and make sure baby is wriggling...it does make me…

Oh ya, I should have said - Jazmyn is GORGEOUS. I have a cousin named Jasmine and just love it, but love the y and z. @ybodwen, oh my gosh. Maybe I shouldn't be but that had me out-loud laughing! And oooh, I could never wait that long - my husband was like "we have until baby is born!" and I am just...not...that...patient.…

My son is Miles Alexander. If he had been a girl he would have been Ava Rose :)

My doctor just said don't exceed on speed or mileage, and otherwise continue on as you're doing, so I've kept to roughly the mileage range I had before being pregnant...although found I am a little more self-limited than before. I did run a half 4 weeks ago though. Pretty much it's common sense in my opinion - don't push…

Been feeling it for a bit - one of the coolest and somehow creepiest sensations ever. There's a person...in my uterus!
-
I was getting brazilians before being pregnant and definitely could not handle it right now!
-
Thoughts and prayers here - that one has a high false positive rate so I am going to pray that that's true for your little one!
-
Cute! Glad you found one!

I drink a minimum of 8 8oz glasses a day, usually 9-10 and on days with hour+ workouts usually 11-12. So I don't think it's dehydration although I do know I get dehydration headaches even when not pregnant...the only thing I'm thinking is I know hydration affects BP and it's possible my pregnant body's BP is sensitive…

It really is lol!

I find some days I just can't run as frustrating as it is, and some days I'm totally fine. It just varies, I think it has to do with baby growth spurts and muscles stretching, but it's frustrating.
-
Pantiliners are definitely safe. I find some days I have to pee every half mile and some days I'm good for the whole run, it just depends how baby is sitting I guess. Gets very irritating! :(
-
This is going to depend on how fast you were before you were pregnant! I ran 11-13 minute miles (depending whether it was say, a 5K or a half marathon) and am pretty much running about the same now, with my training runs usually being 12-13 minute miles. For you that might be too slow - if you were running 8 minute miles…

I can understand that. My first kiddo was fertility tx and I did everything 100% by the book, because it felt so fragile.
