I think PANCAKES would be an appropriate explanation for both inquiries.

Regardless of the number, I don't force myself to eat if I'm not hungry any more than I force myself to starve if I'm truly hungry. It's all about balance in the long-term. One day over or under isn't going to break me. I would chalk it up to a light day and not let myself feel guilty about my next "heavy" day.

...^And this!

I guess it depends on what you consider "healthy". It's eggs, bread, and butter. You could use some low-cal bread, dip in egg-beaters and substitute cooking spray for butter, then top with sugar free syrup. Hmmm...I may have to try this myself this weekend.

Chinese takeout... specifically General Tao's Chicken with lots of roast pork fried rice, wonton soup and an egg roll with a boatload of duck sauce. Haven't had that in ages and didn't think about until you posed the question. Thanks a lot. :grumble:

I usually have eggs, bacon, and a toasted english muffin with sugar free jam....mmmmm.

I would suggest to first look up tenant laws for your state; where I live if a portion of the property is unusable, the tenant does not have to pay for the unusable portion until is is restored to a usable state. It may not be the landlord's fault but it's not yours either. If you're continuing to pay for something that is…

Coffee Chardonnay Ketchup Eggs, Scrambled Bacon Seeing that makes me wish bacon was a little higher on the list...maybe in slot 3.

Your tale put a smile on my face. Congrats on the loss so far, no doubt you'll be on the list for those new knees before you know it! My scale plays with me as well... up two, down three. So I play back too, I'll hold the vacuum in both hand, or the dog. I know my floor is not level and my scale gets "stuck" at certain…

It depends on what you want to track and how accurately. I have a Polar FT60 for my cardio workouts but I wear my Fitbit One all day to track daily activity. I love them both. The Fitbit reading during my cardio is only slightly lower than my HRM so if you could only get one, I would probably recommend the Fitbit for…

Zucchini, sauteed with onions and garlic. Can't get enough.

Wow! I probably would have been too distracted by the chocolate dripping off her fork to formulate that good of a response. Kudos to you for putting her in her place and for your awesome success!

Washington DC does it for me. Having grown up in NYC, I like that DC has the city vibe but on a smaller scale, with the added perk of most galleries and museums being conveniently located within walking distance. I would love to live there...sigh.

How hypocritical. Calling someone rude for making the point that motivation comes from within, without even addressing the OP's concern? Really? Maybe you should stop making it your goal to go through the forums and find people to criticize. I, personally, completely agree with Mallory that this is a difficult undertaking…

I use my Polar HRM only during cardio, but I leave also wear my Fitbit One as well to get a proper adjustment. Once I log the cardio into MFP, both Fitbit and MFP adjust the calories for that time period based on the time and calorie burn from my HRM. For daily activity and strength training, I only use the Fitbit. I think…

You have a talking gorilla? OMG I know what I want for my next birthday...

Awesome, just awesome! Congrats and keep up the great work!

Are you looking at potted or cut flowers? For cut flowers, I think roses are prettier and can last longer when well-cared for. If potted, I'd go with tulips as they can be easily and successfully replanted in a yard/garden to be enjoyed year after year.

One pound at a time. Stay within your calorie goal and be patient. You can do this!

Wow, I can definitely see a difference. Keep up the great work!

You are an amazing and generous soul. I have three very close friends that are survivors and an MFP buddy whose dad was recently re-diagnosed. My uncle Roy and my grandfather Joe both succumbed. Run for your life, and all of theirs! :flowerforyou:

No one can hold me back.

There is no secret and there is no trick. You just have to want to it. I started out just logging what I was eating (good or bad), when I ate it, and that opened my eyes to where I could make adjustments and also decide if I was really hungry or just bored, or stressed, or upset. You are only accountable to yourself. Good…

That is so sweet! You have made a memorable impression on your boss with your success and dedication. You should be so proud of yourself!

Wow... what a difference! Great job.
