Assuming you have your activity level set at Sedentary (based on the 1200 calorie mark you mentioned), you can and should eat back additional calories burned from exercise as your MFP calorie goal already assumes a deficit. That said, if you're hungry you should eat. If not, don't.

I have a Polar FT60 and I love it. Bought it for under $100 on amazon about 2 years ago and it hasn't let me down yet. I've read the FT4 is a good model as well with fewer advanced features and a little less expensive. Good luck & enjoy your runs!

Oh, I feel your pain. I've been on maintenance for a while but was still losing. I wanted to gain back a little bit but went a smidgen too far. I'm now trying to get back to my happy place and it's very difficult. I wear my fitbit 24/7 and use an HRM for cardio. It all comes down to finding and keeping the motivation and…

I bought an armband for my cell phone since I use it to listen to music also. My ID and house key go in the armband, behind the cell phone. The duffel bag you could probably find at a sporting goods store in a variety of sizes/fabrics.

medium roast k-cup with 1 splenda and 1 tsp fat free half-n-half (for a happy tummy)

I ate 2 dark chocolate hershey's kisses today and didn't log them. :blushing:

Chocolate Egg Cream...yum!

I have the Fitbit One and I love it. It can be linked to your MFP account. I also use a Polar HRM for cardio workouts since the Fitbit does not measure heartrate. In the year that I've had it, my Fitbit reads for cardio seem to have gotten closer to my HRM reads so I trust that it's doing it's job fairly accurately.

I think about food way too much. I try to stop and ask myself 'why' first. Usually it's boredom more than hunger. I have two fall-back plans; 1) find something to keep me busy until I'm actually hungry, or 2) if I really just want to snack I'll give myself a goal to accomplish first. For example; finish X project and then…

I don't try to make up for going over one or two days, but if you really want to make it up, why not just reduce by 200 for 5 days? It will be the same net effect, it's easier to incorporate into your daily routine, and you won't feel deprived during or afterwards. You will not lose or gain weight based solely on those two…

The package specifies the portion size as an uncooked weight (usually stated as 1/4 cup 'dry'). Since it may absorb different volumes of the cooking water each time, I weigh the cooked batch, then divide by the number of portions cooked to determine the appropriate weight per serving.

So close... only off by a year and an inch... Female 45 5'5" 137 lbs

When I was starting out at 195lbs , it took losing about 15-20 lbs before my clothes started feeling looser. Now that I'm in smaller sizes, there is less margin for error; 5 lbs in either direction can make a difference in how my clothes look and feel. Hang in there, you're making great progress. And don't compare yourself…

Hmmm...my decision was made exactly 2 months and six days after my twelfth 29th birthday. Been maintaining my goal weight (within 5 lbs) for 461 days.

Not sure which graph you're looking at, but if it's the Net Calorie report the red line is your calorie goal without exercise. If you add calories burned from exercise it increases your daily goal and you should eat some or all of those back (depending on the reliability of the burns your logging). Your daily goal includes…

Well, mushrooms, asparagus, and seafood are on my definite "No" list... because I don't like the way they taste. I eat when I'm hungry, not when I am in the vicinity of a grocery store or bakery.

Apparently you DO beg for acknowledgement based your lame attempt at bragging. If you're not looking to give or receive support, then why waste your time trolling the "Introduce Yourself" board when you could be off somewhere achieving a highly exaggerated calorie burn? Most of us are doing what we do for ourselves and…

I'm on every day (788 and counting) and may have given up if it hadn't been for the great friends I've made along the way. Sending you a FR.

All of the above, but in reverse order of they way you listed them.

Just had some yummy sriracha chex mix, but I'm really craving one of the chocolate chip zucchini muffins that I baked yesterday.

Most of my running playlist is Foo Fighters. The tempo fits perfectly with my preferred running pace.

Yes, people may be looking at you..so what? They're not in a position to judge though when you're out there getting your bad-@ss on and they're not. Oh, and you're welcome to come running with me any day. I play air-drums to the music in my headphones while I'm running and I don't care what people think when they see me.

I toss in some chopped carrots and celery for a little crunch, then some chopped black olives and a splash of chicken broth for added flavor. Easy and tasty.

Beautiful pics! Looks like an awesome day.

I don't know what else you've eaten today or what your nutritional goals are, but if you have calories left and you want yogurt with cookies then have it. Throw some chocolate chips in there too. The only bad choice, IMO, is choosing to deprive yourself of what you really want.

We are all our own worst critics. Others are not judging you as harshly as you judge yourself. Let yourself see and accept what others see in you. I think you look great... before and after.
