What Do You Listen To While Running?

Options
If I've posted this in the wrong place, sorry I didn't know where to post it.

I'm forever looking for new music to run to. I'd love some recommendations. What do you listen to when you run?

I gravitate towards all the angsty with a beat screamo crap I loved as a teenager. I have no idea why it's so fantastic to run to, but it gets me through. Old school Atreyu, A Day To Remember, Escape the Fate, Sleeping with Sirens...that kind of stuff. Pandora is my friend.

Most of my running playlist is Foo Fighters. The tempo fits perfectly with my preferred running pace.

I listen to the Liquid Metal channel on SiriusXm. I tried hip hop but it didn't work out.

I prefer to listen to podcast interviews, but I ran a 14km event yesterday with a random mix of music (I only had one ear phone in and didn't have it too loud) and it was pretty good. Very surprising, as music normally annoys me BAD.

I like listening to a variety of music, but I noticed lately that I've been gravitating toward certain songs from the Rush soundtrack. I'm a huge fan of Hans Zimmer. Into the Red is a really good one from that soundtrack.

Other than that I go anywhere from pop to metal depending on my mood.

I like bouncy pop stuff, I'm only running 2m isn a day so my playlist is a short one, consists of the courteeners - summer, sash - just around the hill, shuffle- bombay bicycle club, ercola - every word, m83 - midnight city and Blurred lines but I'm changing that cos it annoyed me this morning!

    bouncy happy songs :)
