That's helpful thank you. I have been to see my GP who referred me for counselling and behavioural therapy. None of them have worked, he seems unwilling to refer me to anyone else - not sure he really understands that I have a genuine problem which I have struggled with for years. A referral to a specialist would probably…

Yes that makes sense! The more I think about it, I have cut out all refined sugar and sweeteners because that's what OA suggest. But Diet Coke doesn't trigger me to binge, neither does Chocolate! Pizza triggers me to binge, bread can also be problematic. But also tiredness and time of day can trigger me wanting to binge. I…

I suppose I think that I deserve a 'treat' and I decide to have a treat meal so maybe a takeaway or something I wouldn't eat on a daily basis and then I seem to switch back to being 'good.' My husband has amazing willpower and I watch him lose weight so easily and never struggle to moderate foods

I think I just feel frustrated, I understand CICO and it clearly works, the science clearly shows how it works. I just can't seem to stick to it. I can successfully calorie count all week and then binge at the weekend, this then sends me off track. For the last year I have lost and gained the same 10lbs. I have tried…

I'm supposed to not eat refined sugars at all, or anything where sugar is in the first top 4 ingredients on a packet. The concept is that once I have a taste then it triggers my mental urge to want more - which is true, it does. But I want to try and manage this without needing to abstain from the things I enjoy.

Have you cut out all sugars? Do you ever occasionally eat it? I think my issue with OA is that it is a life long choice and I can't have the odd day where I eat sugar. On the whole I feel better for giving it up but I would like once a month to have my favourite takeaway or a piece of cake when it's a birthday. Is this…

After wearing it for the day, I've changed the setting to dominant hand and I do think it's accurate, I am surprised at how much I actually move!! All in all I'm quite impressed with it.

My youngest is 7 weeks old. I've got three children and never lost any of the baby weight. I'm 203 lbs, goal weight is 140lbs. I turn 30 next July and I'm determined not to enter my 30's feeling fat and miserable.

Added. I have 63lbs to lose. We can support each other.

I'm 203 lbs and have 63lbs to lose. Looking at 14lbs initially over a 12 week period. I'm 30 in July and I've had three children, my third is 7 weeks old. I am not going to turn 30 still carrying the baby weight! I have never lost it and my eldest is 7. It's time to look after me now. :)

I have a fair bit to lose as well, I've got a toddler and a newborn at home and I'm struggling to cook healthily instead of grabbing rubbish to snack on

I eat the same foods as before but I stick to my calorie allowance, I don't deprive myself off anything, if I want pizza or chocolate then I eat it. I have been on a 'diet' for the last 10 years and have given up after a week due to feeling deprived of treats. This to me is a lifestyle change and I have overhauled my…

I totally understand this, my best friend is constantly on at me that I don't need to lose weight and is so unsupportive. I am 2.5 stone over what I should be and what I have been before. It is so annoying!! I don't look my actual weight, I know people think I am smaller than I am but they should trust my judgement. The…

The first few weeks I started I lost nothing and actually put weight on, I actually went to the doctors about it because I was so annoyed! If you can see that your body is changing then you are doing things right. I now don't weigh once a week, I aim for once a fortnight which is hard but worth it. The fluctuations were…
