Excellent way to burn off fat, and as many calories as you might at the gym, while comfortably snuggling your little one in a rocking chair! Enjoy the time, it goes way too fast.

Day 11 for me and I had no problem out for dinner last night watching everyone else eat dessert, especially what was once my favorite Creme Brulee. Life is good!

Unfortunately black coffee and black tea stain teeth. No cream = stain. It is a trade off, but might as well know that. (dental hygienist here)

Thank you!!! great link

Read what Dr Champ has to say on it with that link that I posted. He is an oncologist (cancer doc) and says studies are showing we need salt intake and it isn't too much salt that is giving people disease and feeding cancers, it is carbs. (surprise surprise ;-)
-
Fairly important that we pick the right type of salt, not processed. I don't know, but the words "Lite Salt" point to processed perhaps? :| http://www.cavemandoctor.com/2012/09/10/salt-collateral-damage-in-the-war-on-fat/

Ultimately, I am not ever going to be competing (that's actually a really really funny thought) I don't need to bulk up, I need to lose 15 lbs! I think I will be just fine keto

Search up Ben Greenfield and Dr Attia.

I started with tree nut allergies -- ever since I was a kid. I just waited until I was 40 to throw in soy and peanut ;-) Yes, I know they are legumes. Allergist made the diagnosis with blood tests after a night in ER -- very severe peanut allergy, and soy. Darn years as a vegan likely did me in.

I sent my trainer an email late last night with two good links - Dr Attia and Greenfield. Whether he reads them or not is up to him. I also added that I feel very motivated, and what I'm doing isn't up for discussion. He wants my business. He knows I have tried a lot of diets over the years and have worked out hard with a…

love term "carbage"

hahaha! that's the best :-)

Just throwing it out there that I switched to Armour Thyroid Meds two years ago for a bunch of reasons...and it is dirt cheap compared to Synthroid--cheap enough that I pay the $11 full cost of the prescription for a month rather than put it through Blue Cross with my $25 insurance deductible ;-)

All about losing fat for me. I have been circuit training with him for 11 months. That Ben Greenfield fitness link is interesting. If that isn't training full keto, I don't know what is...

Adding this myself... What do you think? http://www.bengreenfieldfitness.com/2012/04/exercise-on-low-carbohydrate-diet/

Ketosis has me kind of feeling like I'm doing something really shockingly risky and opposite to the norm. I'm fine with that, because I believe in it, but boy have I had people that figured out what I was up to, or watched me with the full cream, just about die of shock ;-)

Excellent freebie :-)

Dr Stephen Phinney http://www.askthelowcarbexperts.com/2012/08/23-long-term-stalls-weight-gain-even-on-a-well-formulated-low-carb-diet-dr-stephen-phinney/

I am 5'9". My weight was 140 lbs for years. I blame the rest on years of messed up dieting, middle age and thyroid madness. Here I am! I am listening to all those links, and links from those links. Thank you again. I really like Dr Stephen Phinney.…

What do you think of the calorie count they refer to in the first reference you gave? Not to be below 1500 for average woman? I know people on LC Ketosis who do not count cals at all. ?

Excellent links! I tried some searching and found nothing so focused. Thank you so much!! Caro

YOU made my day with this post!!!! :-)

AMAZING!! Thanks for the photos too!! Inspiring!

From personal experience I suggest "hypothyroid!" The hair falling out, dry skin and exhausted by lunch, was my personal experience. Glad you posted!
-
In the past I over rode and posted exercise calories burned as one calorie.

I'm going to try that! I've moved to using whipped cream with my coffee. What if I am under my sugar or carb count for the day. Do you think I can then cheat with the sugar in a flavor?
-
I want one flavored coffee a day. A single pump. I personally won't do aspartame and have found I have a GI response to others like Stevia. So here I am... I would almost put up with the stevia sucrala etc response just to have my coffee the way I really like. Not a big sugar or carb craver anyhow (I'm a dental hygienist)…

Day 2 -- wishing I had no carbs in the fridge/freezer, especially baking from Christmas. I think I will give it away :-) I have been trying to be relatively low carb (except Christmas) for about the last year. I have been mostly off wheat and grains (again except Christmas - you see common thread here lol) I just watched…
