This is a GREAT idea! :)

Awesome ideas! I feel better about asking for a grill :) I'm definitely adding a kettlebell to my list. I did get an digital scale one time, and use it every day. Also an HRM is so indispensible that would make an awesome gift. I agree about the Bodymedia Fit or Bodybugg thingies - would make incredible gifts but for the…

You need more protein!!! Protein that doesnt have carbs - like eggs & cheese! Have some Quiche or an omelette!

aweigh - good point. Hmmmm. Maybe I can swap the days :)

Awesome! Thanks guys! Kenpo it is :) I was looking forward to yoga because I love power yoga - is the P90x yoga like power or ashtanga yoga, or do you guys not like it because its a boring version of yoga?

162 this morning - down 5 lbs from the start of the challenge. Yay us!

- Weight Watchers has an unofficial version of this called the Wendie Plan, and I read in an awful article one time the anorexic version is the 2,4,6,8 plan - so no matter where you're at it seems to be universal that confusing the body & mixing up the calorie intake must work! Any spicy food is good for revving metabolism…

Thanks for replying everyone. It's reassuring to hear your real results. Alantin - I dont mean 'faster' - I mean losing anything :) I am going to up my calories by 300 a day and see what it does. I cant do any worse than plateauing, if I gain from an extra 300 cals a day my thyroid or something is seriously off!!!! I also…

Sorry my mistake - I mistyped and meant that its the BodyMEDIA that provides sleep evaluation! :embarassed:

Cool thanks! No wine, no beer unless light. Vodka & rum with diet soda sound like the best - I can make one of those last a long time!

I am so inspired by everyone doing so well over this week! Everyone has managed so well and not had too much anxiety over beding the plan a little then moving on. I'm so impressed!

I have an 'Oster' 14 speed - I only paid about $30 for it. I figured it would tide me over until I could afford a vitamix . I have now had it for over THREE YEARS, and I make smoothies almost daily, it is an AWESOME blender! On the 14th speed it crushes ices, liquifies leafy greens, I can even throw chunky carrots into…

I got my headaches on day 9 and 10 of the Master Cleanse, it wasnt caffeine withdrawal. So insanely painful I wont ever do it again. I loved the taste of the spicy lemonade especially warm but maybe I have a citric allergy. I am 100% agreement that the best 'cleanse' are from veggies, and the reason I think the cabbage…

I've done a few from Master Cleanse (unbearable headache) to Raw Food (unbearable hunger) to Apple Diet (unbearable boredom) to boxes of cleanse pills (unbearable taste)! The best one I found hands down is the Cabbage Soup Diet. I veganized it with tofu on the protein days, but honestly, that soup is AWESOME for cleansing…

BTW, the big difference for me is Bodybugg offers the sleep evaluation, that shows how much quality sleep you are getting - very impirtant in losing weight actually - and an almost round the clock calorie count - so I would think that would make it much more accurate than Bodybugg. They are made by the same company and…

Heres a comparison http://www.bodymedia.com/site/blog_files/product_table.html Also, bodymedia are having a sale this weekend http://www.bodymedia.com/site/landing/holiday_savings.html?utm_source=radio90&utm_medium=radio&utm_campaign=radio so the basic armthingy on its own is $159 (w/o bluetooth) - now whats not clear is…

Wow! Well done on your incredible accomplishment. You kicked *kitten* big time! Amazing! Enjoy your new well earned physique!

Who knows! :) I think everyone is different. I know I gain fastest eating carbs with fat, so personally they are things to avoid :) The science of ketosis is sound but I think its hard on the liver long term. Short term it works well. I am reading a great book by Tom Venuto 'Burn The Fat, Feed the Muscle'. He says he…

Thanks for the advice! I was feeling like I might be being too obsessive weighing everyday, so I am relieved to hear many of you do the same thing to stay on track!

Try incorporating beans into your diet and some complex carbs and whole grains.
-
I think you should grown the back out - kinda like Tom Brady has it. You suit the long hair. But the short cut is lovely too.

Breakfasts of tofu scrambles with mushrooms tomatoes & spinach set you up for the day with low carbs & high protein intake. Add some Lightlife smart bacon to boost the veggie protein more. Yum! For lunches & dinners try the Gardein ch'kn scallopinis (in the freezer section). One of those on a slice of wholegrain bread -…

Thanks for sharing the youtube video - it was so awesome I posted in on FB. When I dont feel like running I think of my cousins with cerebral palsy who despite being confined to wheelchairsstill get out there and play basketball , and I think of how lucky I am to have these legs that can carry me, so they should be…

Hi everyone! I am new as well and I look forward to starting the 2011 healthier & fitter! Its very cool that you can change the ticker to just show pound to go and not weight. Don't be embarrassed - we are mostly all here for the same purpose!!! Good luck everyone!
-
Thank you! I cant wait to become stronger, fitter & leaner! Yay!

That's interesting. I always take mine at night so I sleep through any nausea from it. Works well for me so I'm happy to hear it might be even more beneficial. Also, a food based multi is absorbed better. I just started taking Rainbow Light Womens Once Daily and its pretty awesome (and no nausea feeling even when I have…

You can definitely tell. Well done! That's a lot to lose! Congratulations!!!
