I think that is a great idea to do the BBB and still do two or three other lifts for assistance work. Didn't think of that. I'm still getting my head around this that outside of the 5/3/1 lifts it can be totally customized. My rest days are Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday for my training days. I like to do one to two active rest days on either Wednesday and or Saturday. I use those days to do some ab work and cardio. I don't think it is a problem. I've done it and had it done to me by men and women. I didn't take issue with it and I don't prefer to do a lot of talking in the gym. This could be different for him.

I've done a fried cauliflower rice with my stir fry when I tried paleo for a month. It was pretty good. My wife loved it.

I've been doing front squats for about 8 weeks. I like them a lot, So, now I heavy back squat on Tuesday and front squat for higher reps on Friday after my heavy deadlifts.

If you don't have the carbs left to fit in a serving of pasta which is the only way I would turn down a nice serving of whole wheat or white noodles then go for spaghetti squash. Stuff is pretty good. Just cut it down the middle. Drizzle with EVOO. garlic seasoning, salt, and pepper and roast.
