Who is still in China? I'm not, since 2017 I'm not. I'm back in the Netherlands, and today I picked up Insanity. Read my blog to find out how *kitten* I look now, and how great I feel about my decision! Let's blow some life into this group again, and wake up all your healthy spirits!

That's a good tip! I'll go try again :p

Welcome aboard!

I don't know what's worse: people who post message like "eating less than 1000 calories and still gaining weight!" or those who comment: "don't worry, it's probably muscle".

Helloeee, are you guys still in China? I know I am, almost for 9 years now. Hey, I discovered that MFP on android has this barcode scanner with which you can easily add foods. Obviously, it doesn't have too many Chinese food barcodes stored yet, and I was wondering whether everyone here could help out to scan and save some…

Hi. I'm 47 (48 in Jan) and I'm looking to be be between 63 and 64 kilos and have between 5-10 MFP pals with similar goals. Logging food & weight everyday. I'm 1.70 cm tall (short) and went from 70 to 60 kg (my prior goal) but since I started strength training a year-and-a-half ago I feel the need to be a bit heavier. Kept…

Logging everyday. I'm 1.70 cm and went from 70 to 60 kg (my goal) but since I started strength training I feel the need to be a bit heavier. Kept at 61 kg for a year, now considering to go to 63 or 64 (muscle gain, not fat or water)… Hard work :/

If the person above me is going to place a comment below mine, no. If she's not going to comment, still no.

Hey fellow NROL-ers and -sters, y'all still there? I arrived at the Strength II part and have gained 2 kilo's (must be part fat) since Hypertrophy. It's because I ate more, I just would like to know what made me eat more! It wasn't a conscious choice or anything. Anyway, it's a good motivator to do Fat Loss after I have…

I checked your profile… For a 'female' you look rather skinny around the chest.

Wine, pizza, basically any food or drink that reduces your stress… That's also why expensive so-called weight loss supplements are counter-effective and stuff like ice cream or chocolate is not!
-
With all that dieting my head shrunk so much that it's just not visible anymore.

Way to go! Finally someone who gets it (opposed to the 1200 calorie posters)

Not only the mind, also different lightning. To compare it's best to use the same light source at the same time of day. I also struggle with the same question, by the way. I lean more to lean than to bulky, though, but everyone has go this own preference.

I'd say 15%

Thanks for the links, it's very interesting, BUT - there is more to weight control than calories in calories out. In the last year I have gradually upped my calories from 1800 - 2000 - 2200 - 2400 - 2600 and stayed the same weight without increasing my activity level…

Too bad you ladies missed HT3 - for me, the best results so far came from there. As for many reps with low weights, I do not think that that necessarily causes muscle loss if one eats enough. One more HT3 leg workout and then I'm going on to Strength 1. I'm ready for a change in routine and looking forward to the DL's…

@ Maximus : I totally did NOT name my son after you!

Finishing the last round of HT III, after having done I and II. I'm really happy with the results. I haven't gained weight, since I'm maintaining, but I have definitely much more definition and a solid six pack. I will continue with Strength after this and then we'll see. Not sure about Fat Loss, since I don't want/need to…

Worst advice ever. Numbers don't lie. Tracking weight is the best method to consistently evaluate your progress.

Are you too fat to go swimming? No. Checkout Martin Strell aka Fish Man. He's overweight, yet swam the Mississippi, Yangtze, Danube and Amazon river. There's a documentary about him, go checkout "Big River Man".

Yes, the solution is your brain needs more food in order to write clearer posts.
