Another QLD'er here. I get sick of having to convert lb and oz to kg and grams (food wise) too lol. Also KJ to Calories. And pounds to kilos weight wise. And I can't find a few of the machines I use at the gym on here, but the database of food is really good, if somewhat confusing. Has a lot of Aussie foods in there. I'm…

Hell no! I don't drink much, (or at all actually any more). I don't smoke. I don't have an Imelda Marcos shoe collection. I have no other vices. I refuse point blank to give up my morning coffee. But I use sweetener and low fat milk, so I really don't think I need to. Gods I love my coffee!!!! As a little aside, I just did…

*waves* I log every day. And I log absolutely everything I eat and all my exercise (nothing to log today, I've had a migraine most of the day). Looking forward to seeing more of you :)

Personally for me, it's because I've been a big girl for so many years now that I feel even bigger next to a guy who is shorter than I am. I seriously can not date anyone shorter than me. I feel like a bigger heffalump than I already am.

Chrissie you need to be playing a game on Facebook called 'Songpop' lol (re: #4)

I'm another one who doesn't have a weight goal in mind. I just want to be healthy, fit, and be able to 'buy off the rack'. I'll know it when I see it in the mirror.

Agree. Add to that one confused Aussie who has only been going to the gym for about 4 months. I look and look in the MFP Strength Training section and can't find the particular machine or exercise I do with them, so find it hard to log in the first place. Good suggestion about logging them under the cardio section using…

1. I am terrified of balloons, spiders and cockroaches. 2. I owned 2 motorbikes before I owned a car. 3. I have only one child, a son who has Aspergers Syndrome, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, and ADHD. 4. I was once invited to the Mayor's Christmas party in recognition of my good work in the community. 5. I've lived in…

Just to be clear, I log absolutely everything I consume. My gym sessions usually consist of at least half an hour cardio (exercise bike and treadmill) and the rest (30 to 40 minutes) of weight bearing machines. I drink at least 8 glasses of water every day (and pee all night because it's winter). I have cut out all sugar…

I noticed one day you went over sodium (I only looked at the last few days) You aren't tracking potassium so I couldn't tell what you are taking in there. I will say that if you eat 1 mg of sodium you need to be eating 2-3 mg of potassium for each. This will help with bloating. If you do go over sodium often this could be…

Same! I'm only a B cup to start with, but mine are SO much firmer and perkier!

Since starting a healthy way of eating, I've banned all junk food, and sweets from my kitchen. My son takes his yummy bad food into his room so I don't have to look at it. The fridge now pretty much just consists of skinny milk for me, fat milk for him (he's trying to bulk up), low fat ham, thawed chicken, a LOT of fresh…

LOL! Awesome. Well done!

Absolutely hilarious!

Ditto!! And I for one, would rather someone tell me when I'm stuffing up, than pamper to my whims. Honesty all the way for me. If someone can show me a better way, I'm all for hearing it.

My PT suggests I eat 6 smaller meals a day, with a handsize of protein and a handsize of veges. She can't tell me enough, to eat more protein! Which isn't hard to do, my son's a butcher ;)

Another Aussie here... How do you guys get to have kg on your bits down the bottom? Mine always comes up in pounds??? :blushing:

Putting in my stats, MFP came up with 1710 calories a day. I never do anywhere near this. If I go over 1200 a day I gain weight. Even on days I work out. I go to the gym at least 4 times a week, and try and play tennis on the weekend. I need to lose a LOT of weight! I have no thyroid, but take replacement and my hormone…

I have massive cravings. Every day! But it's been so many years that I've shoved whatever I want into my always ready mouth, which has given me the body I have now, not the body I want. I do give in. But I do it selectively. I will either know exactly what I'm about to do, and head to the gym first to work it off before it…
