  • It's probably a difference in area, depending on which "server" you are accessing. I guess I'll see it when I see it!
  • Maybe I'm missing something because it looks the same to me. What are you guys seeing that's different?
  • Going to try this. could be especially awesome when we are camping in the RV
  • If you are hungry then you might not be eating the proper foods. Are you eating filling whole grains, beans, fruits and vegetables? Plus, you've only been here a week? That's not enough time to expect a huge loss. Keep going and see what happens next week....and if you are still hungry and eating good healthy foods, then…
  • Good luck, and congrats on making it through one week! You can do it!
  • There's no way she could have gained 10 pounds of TRUE fat in one week, no matter how much she ate. What really happened was she consumed too much sodium, and now her body is coming back to normal, releasing the water. That's the 5 lb loss.
  • People eating is a part of life, and if you are in it for the long haul, you are going to run into situations like this a lot. You might as well start dealing with it now. It's not going to get any better!
  • spaghetti and meatballs, and a big slice of chocolate layer cake.
  • oh wow, that is absolutely fantastic!!!
  • http://www.webmd.com/diet/features/truth-about-sensa plus if you search the forum, there are previous posts about sensa.
  • That's wonderful. What a body transformation!
  • That is a fantastic accomplishment! You should be proud. When I was losing, I tried not to focus on the weight loss (yeah, it was difficult, but I TRIED!) and just tried focusing on the fact that I was healthier. In other words, focus on health not weight loss. Good luck with the rest of your journey!!!
  • Use the forum search option and you'll find hundreds of past threads discussing this same subject.

  • I haven't cut out bread tortillas or rice. I just choose healthier versions. whole grain bread (homemade so I can control the ingredients), brown rice, and corn tortillas Stay away from white flour and white rice. I do treat myself to good quality white pasta once or twice a week though. And everything in portion. Make…
  • how are your trans fats? That is the fat you should be watching. If you eat a lot of processed foods, it can also be a factor. How is your sugar intake? If you eat a lot of foods with high refined sugars (not whole fruit sugar) then that can affect your cholesterol as well.
  • I think I remember this woman from Oprah or one of the other talk shows. It is disgusting. She is 100% abusing her child, what kind of life does that poor little girl have? She probably never plays outside!
  • If it helps, you might tell them to "ignore" MFP - because it's being posted by this site TO facebook, I am pretty sure it can be ignored, without actually ignoring you when you post to your profile yourself. Good luck!
  • When I bake bread, I weigh the total of the loaf, and say it's 28 oz, I calculate it to be 28 servings, and weigh each slice by ounces. if a slice is 2 oz, then it's 2 servings. I've even done this for muffins. I weighed the total of all of them, and then weighed each one so I knew exactly the calories. But I don't stress…
  • Personally, I don't have a time limit for eating. if I am truly hungry, I eat. I just try to eat something healthy...some nuts, a 1/2 serving of very dark chocolate, fruit. Are you consistently going under your calories? If so, you might need to eat more, or eat a better quality of food. Your diary is private so it's hard…
  • For some reason, I'm not the greatest hummus maker, but I do like Cedar brand.. it's a local brand, don't know if they are available where you are. I buy at Whole Foods. They have a lot of different blends, I sampled the lemon flavor at the store, and it was delish, so I bought it!
  • I never believe in fad or hyped "diets" that are not sustainable for the rest of your life.

  • I love hummus too, I buy the Cedar brand, which is a local brand here in New England, I love it with veggies, and also on toast, or even toasted corn tortillas broken up to look like chips.
  • It never was a "diet" to me, I've always thought of it as a way of life. I made small changes, and kept progressing!
  • searching on the forum will bring up a TON of previous conversations about sugar = fruit vs refined sugars.

  • Are you eating whole grains, veggies, beans? The portions are smaller, yes, but they will fill you up. If you are eating processed or empty calorie foods with no redeeming qualities, then no, you are not going to be satisfied. You'll always be looking for something else to eat. Good luck!
  • When you have a smaller amount of weight to lose, it's going to be more difficult than someone who has to lose 100 pounds. Keep doing what you're doing, and just see how it goes. don't put extra pressure on yourself, just allow your body to find it's perfect weight. Your food diary is excellent! I commend you on that! You…
  • do a forum search for "sugar" and you'll find answers to your fruit question! :)
  • No one can really offer advice until they can see your food diary.

  • Welcome to MFP! I wish you lots of luck on your journey! FYI, I don't know if it matters to you, but you can change your starting weight to reflect your original weight when you were on WW. That way you'll see the 13 pounds loss, and it won't feel like you are starting over! Just a suggestion! My Home>Settings>update diet…
