  • Here is a link to a small group. There are some recipe, tips and links there. I use mine for soup, broth, chicken, quinoa and more. community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/115500-pressure-cooker-recipes-and-tips
  • This is really good! It is fast too using the broiler. http://soupspiceeverythingnice.blogspot.com/2016/03/avocado-tomato-and-cheese-melt.html
  • They both sound so good! The chicken is a great idea. Thanks!
  • I will have to try these too. The carnitas have been on my to do list for awhile. Thanks for the recommendation!
  • So glad you liked it too. They really are amazing!
  • I have made these for my Mom. They are really good! https://sweetcsdesigns.com/non-alcoholic-moscow-mules/ This one we did for Mom too. I can't remember if how we did it though. I think we used non-alcoholic brut? I bet sparkling apple cider or grape juice or even club soda would work too.…
  • This is really great! soupspiceeverythingnice.blogspot.com/2016/03/potato-breakfast-casserole.html
  • This is great for holiday snacks. Snickerdoodle Hummus! Try it with apples and carrots. soupspiceeverythingnice.blogspot.com/2016/08/masonable-mondays-5-snickerdoodle-hummus.html
  • Check out this group community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/115500-pressure-cooker-recipes-and-tips I use it to make soup, poach chicken, cook quinoa and brown rice, shrimp boil, make pho and ramen broths. This rice bowl recipe was so good! The chicken was amazing! littlespicejar.com/chicken-banh-mi-bowls/
  • I feel for you, I am going through this with my best friend right now. Everything is difficult to swallow and it hurt him. He is drinking light ensure right now and soup. The ensure comes in a creamy version and a fruit version for some variety. Tomato soup and broths has been his favorites so far. Cream of mushroom was…
  • I think slow cooking would over cook it. I had better luck stir-frying it. The video was very helpful. https://youtube.com/watch?v=wtgRvDQ4xM8
  • I agree great substitute for sour cream. Use on potatoes, tacos, etc. Works in dips and salad dressings. Works in this potato salad. soupspiceeverythingnice.blogspot.com/2013/04/two-potato-salad-with-sour-cream.html
  • Try plain grilled chicken, apples and blue cheese crumbles + lettuce.
  • Have you tried ginger? It is great for nausea. You can add it the food you cook. In you case making tea might be a good way to start the day. I hope you feel better.
  • I have not, but I have used the reserved chicken fat to cook before. Usually to start sauteing the veggies for soup. It really has great flavor. Great for browning potatoes for home fries too.
  • What he said. I found that browning just produces a different flavor. Raw produces a lighter clean chicken flavor. Roasted bones or leftover chicken carcasses from baked chicken produces a darker roasted almost "gumbo" flavor.
  • Non alcoholic mule. I can enjoy without the simple syrup. https://sweetcsdesigns.com/non-alcoholic-moscow-mules/
  • I recommend sheet pan suppers or sheet pan meals. There are all sort of different recipes out there. You can put protein, veggies and potato all on the same baking pan and put it in the oven at usually 400-450. I think it would work well for you because you can adjust the amount so you have more veggies and he has more…
  • I found the video I saw about the Hot Logic. The Fit Couple Cooks does tons of meal prep and they recommend it. https://youtube.com/watch?v=6bfmefjupu4
  • Also since you have a kettle. There are some mason jar recipes that you just add hot water too. Domestic Geek did a video. https://youtube.com/watch?v=iHZ2G8TwTwY
  • I don't own one but Hot Logic is a lunch bag you can plug in and warm a meal prep container.
  • @crazyravr :D Lol! Yep that icky green color is not a typical color for soup, but it is what make it taste so good. I would never have thought to put that much cilantro in a soup recipe. But the cilantro, garlic and cumin really makes this soup different in a good way.
  • Summer rolls tonight. Made a peanut sauce without oil with some warm water to thin it out. soupspiceeverythingnice.blogspot.com/2012/10/goldenland-spring-rolls-with-thai-style.html
  • So glad you tried it. That recipe is so versatile. I have made it with turkey or no meat at all just drained and rinsed can beans. Zucchini and turkey Italian sausage is great too.
  • I hear the veggie disasters all the time. Someone said the secret with beef and broccoli is to cook the beef to desired doneness then add the broccoli and stir let rest covered no heat or warm so it is tender crisp. Some people do 0 minutes for broccoli or use steam function with vent open. There is definitely a learning…
  • I have not tried this just curious enough to google it. https://leaf.tv/articles/how-to-use-instant-potatoes-to-thicken-soup/
  • Sorry I missed that. :# I guess I skim more than I thought. Oops!
  • I wonder if instant potato flakes would work in your case? Just a thought.
  • I puree all or some of the soup too. I will either put an immersion blender in the pot or take a few cups out and puree in a traditional blender and stir it back in. Another method to thicken soup is adding tempered egg like in the Greek soup Avgolemono. You add a cup of the hot soup broth to two beaten eggs very slowly…
  • Another must try is Pho. It is so good. I used this video from Cuong Can Cook. https://youtube.com/watch?v=7w8zsYfnbpM&t=3s I had to look up the spices since I did not have access to a bag of mixed spices. It was so good I need to do it again. Pho Spices: 2 Tbsp whole coriander seeds 4-5 whole cloves 2-3 whole star anise 1…
