Hi, I stopped tracking sugar for exactly that reason, 90% of my sugar intake comes from fruit and I was also over the MFP allocated amount, so I just took it off my diary and don't worry about it anymore. Don't have sugar in hot drinks or on cereal, so the other 10%, to me is fine. Hope that helps a bit :)

Hey there, My advice would be to tackling one at a time until you think you have it nailed. So take the drinking more water, decide how much you want drink each day and then make that the target for 2/3 weeks and when you've mastered it, pick the next thing to tackle perhaps cutting something out this time, then adding…

Hi there, Happy to help and be helped along the way. I log every day and try and encourage and support all my friends on here! I have just started a women's weight-lifting programme - New Rules of Lifting for Women - as it's new I am really enthusiastic but will need the encouragement to stay that way. My downfalls diet…

I've bit the bullet and ordered a small bag of some really natural type not the full on body building stuff and will see how I get on. Got unflavoured so will not be doing shakes, will add into yogurt, eggs, porridge, etc, I just can't seem to get anywhere near the daily amount with my diet!!
-
Glad I saw this, was wondering the exact same thing, I'll head for the cross-trainer/elliptical before workouts then, rather than doing the lifting.....perfect!
-
Nesquik yum, off to the supermarket for me later!! I love salmon, thanks for that, will defo give it a try! :)

Bump! I am going to start this in the next week or so, just reading through the book and getting bit confused too! Also, any advice on what weight to start on...how do you work that out? AND do you eat right after your workout as the book suggests, if so what - protein bar/shake or something else?! Cheers, also more…

Bump! This is the most helpful post I have come across. Only got the book last night and have read first chapter, but on reading posts and websites and such I'm getting more and more confused by it all. I have lost 10lbs in the last five weeks using 'traditional' methods - cardio, low calories, etc and am now after some…
