I am sure you are. P90X is an awesome program and I am dying to go back to it, but need to plan it REALLY well because of the one-hour long workouts. :(

Way to go!! It is so nice to have other options to pick from. Better yet, is to have the time to do so. Enjoy your vacation and Bring It!! Cristina

Way to go!! Congratulations and keep up the good work. :drinker:

I can go heavier on shoulder presses as well. My only issue right now is with my grip. I have to buy those gloves to see if they will help a little. I will definitely keep everyone posted. Please, let me know how it goes with P90X. I will eventually do it again.

I agree. Chin up, girl!! We are in this together and we will get there.

Hey Tina, First of all, did you measure your body fat BEFORE you started CLX? Who knows? Maybe you had more BF and dropped down to 25%. Also, I do not trust the websites to be accurate. They may be close, but I would go to your gym and have a professional trainer measure it for you. In fact, I am dying to have one done for…

I do and they do not seem to be going down much. Maybe an inch in my waistline. However, I have gone down on BF%, so something seems to be working. I found an eBook cookbook on Scooby by Dave Ruel. I think that Scooby endorses it. It was $37.00 and it had some nice add-ons. I honestly think that the final touch to…

WOW! WOW! WOW! You have done an AMAZING job! What an inspirational story. Congratulations!! :drinker:

I went to the website below and I found my TDEE. http://scoobysworkshop.com/accurate-calorie-calculator This other website also gave me something close to 1800 calories a day. http://www.fat2fitradio.com/ What I liked the most, though, was what I read. As a goal, on the first website, I chose "gain muscle, lose fat" since…

I agree! Try upping it slowly, or again, try finding out your TDEE.

Awesome!! It is so nice to know that we do not need to starve ourselves. :drinker: Women!! I do that all the time, too.

Tina, I bought a pair of calipers at GNC. They were cheap, about 20 dollars. You need to have someone do that for you, but there are sites and videos with descriptions and explanation on how to do it properly. I don't think my husband does it right, but it does give me an idea. So far, I have measured it 3 times and it…

You said you did not gain any weight during the time you upped your calories. Do you know if your body fat or measurements went down though? I think that will be my focus from now on. I will be okay whether my weight stays the same or goes up a bit, as long as the BF is going down.

I know what you mean. Chalene mentions something about it during her workouts. We do need to eat more to fuel them. For some reason, I have been very hungry lately. I don't know how tall you are, but I am short 4'11", so I was eating an average of 1600 a day. There were days when I exercised that I netted about 1300/1400…

Hey, Thanks for your input. Yes, I agree with you about our frustrations. However, WE will not give up. Fitness will be a part of my life like brushing my teeth in the morning is. Changes will happen, but we need to be patient. We are definitely heading the right direction. Cristina

I am on week 3 of Lean for Life Phase, and I must say that I did see great results during the Lean phase. It sounds weird to say that I weigh 101 pounds and still do not have visible abs, but this is true. My obliques and the top abs look nice. In fact, I am starting to see some definition in the area. The mid-section,…

Thanks, deanabailey!! My core is definitely my weakest spot. After reading your post, I made sure to REALLY engage my abs during the workout this evening. Although I am very conscious about form, I think that I let it slip sometimes. Another thing is that the CLX calendar has only one day with an Ab workout per…

These look awesome! Thanks for sharing.

This is my problem. I am trying to make small changes, but it is NOT easy at all. Adding protein (a lot of it) is not an easy task either. To make things worse, I CAN'T cook. I try, believe me, but it is a challenge for me. Thanks for the support. Yes, I CAN do this and I KNOW it will take some time, but I will take…

Hey Tina, I started back again yesterday after almost a 2-week break due to the flu and the holidays. Believe me, I did not know I was going to struggle with the workouts. I did Burn Intervals yesterday and it was so hard for me to keep up with it. I am so sore today, as well, but I agree with you, "No Pain, No Gain". It…

** this ** You look great!! Happy New Year!! :flowerforyou:

I had a great 2012 as far as fitness goes. I have reached my goal weight and have started building muscles. My main goal for 2012 is to maintain my weight, or even go up, if it means muscle weight. I want to look toned and, ultimately, have a 6-pack by summer time. I am going to start a second round of…

Hello Ladies, I hope you all had a blessed Christmas!! Last week was my last week of the Lean Phase, but all I was able to do was circuit 1 and 2 before getting sick with the flu. I have not done anything this week either. I will start the Lean for Life phase on Monday and hopefully, I will have my new select tech weights…

I love this thread! I am close to my goal weight (2-3 pounds away) and I am starting to play with my numbers. Besides the amount of calories you guys eat, it would also be nice to know how tall you are. Congratulations to those who have achieved their goal. :drinker:
