No point in seeing it on catch-up then?

Hello, fellow Londoner here :)
-
I've been on here on and off for a few years. feel free to add :)

East Londoner here, about a mile from the Olympic Park. I absolutely cannot wait for it to be over; we've had disruptions and road closures for years around here whilst getting everything ready, and the promised tickets for locals for putting up with it all unsurprisingly didn't materialise. And it's going to be a…

I was the same too- didn't lose a single pound until I stopped feeding (was mixed-feeding until 6.5 months), then I lost about 16 pounds in the next 6 months :)

Another one here, I was diagnosed in 1993 and have pretty much every crappy syptom going at one time or another. Weight loss is really hard, and weight gain so v easy- can put a stone on in just a few days of eating what my husband eats. Eating low GI or low carb is the only way I've ever lost or maintained any weight. Am…

Fantastic :)

I work ft and have a toddler, and have no time to excercise!

I am watching this thread with interest; I had a crash c-section 2.5 years ago, lost my pregancy weight of 3 stone (42lb), but I can't fit into my pre-pregnancy trousers still as they went through all my stomach muscles as my son had already descended, and they had to bring him back up the birth canal. I would look…

Morning all :) No weight loss for me thig morning, but I restarted after the Christmas eating on Wednesday last week, so not enough time to make a difference really. I have PCOS too (have just read the posts since I last posted), and had several m/c before I fell with my son. I took clomid and metformin to conceive him,…

Hi, I'm Angie, and I'm from London, UK. I was lucky enough to give birth to my gorgeous son via crash c-section in 2008, and we are strating to ttc#2 as soon as my AF decides to arrive. I am currently my pre-pregnancy weight (have yo-yoed a lot since having my son), and ideally need to get from my current 12 st 4lb to 11st…

Hello from London :) I am back on the waggon as I am currently ttc a second baby!
-
Hiya, I've never had a problem finding uk stuff on here as well, even supermarket own-brands :)
-
Just bumping this up, have been around on MFP for a while but am seriously back on the wagon again :) I've lost 10lb in the month up to Christmas- put 5lb back on over the last week, but expect it to go fairly quickly as I am being ultra strict on myself!

Angie from London here... back on the low-carb wagon (again). It's the only thing that works, but the weight loss is oh so slow since having a baby :ohwell:

I have PCOS, and the ONLY thing that has worked over the years is going low-carb. When I reach a goal weight, I switch to low-GI to maintain. It's so hard doing proper low-carb though, especially when you work full-time, have a toddler, and many sleepless nights to contend with

So glad to have found a UK board :) I'm back on the bandwagon again. Had managed to lose half a stone, but a week visiting relatives has wrecked that- and I've put on 4lb. Hopefully at least 2 is water weight though. Carbs do it for me. A low cal diet on it's own doesn't work for me, I have to keep under 50g carbs too to…

Many congrats :)

Hi all, hope it's ok to join in! Low-carb is the only thing that's ever worked for me in the long-term, so I'm back on the bandwaggon :) 1. 175lb 2. 3lb loss 3. 168lb

Hiya, I had a baby 13 months ago- I put on 42lb when pregnant, it took me a year to lose, but I did it  As for breastfeeding... not everyone loses weight- I didn't. I lost about 16lb just after giving birth, breastfed for 6 months but didn't lose a single pound in the 6 months I fed for!
-
Nope, not managing much exercise really, although I run after my son all the time (I swear he's faster than me!)- does that count? I try and get out and about with him in the pushchair most days, and I aim for about 40 mins-an hour each day.
-
2 stone- that's fantastic !
-
Sorry, a stone is worth 14lbs!

I am open about my husband about everything... except weight. I can't tell him, and he's lovely about it. We have no other secrets. I even put a pin-code on my wii-fit account, so no-one could find out my weight. I think most people think I'm lighter than I am- I'm quite braod-shouldered, and although short carry my weight…

HIya, great idea :) I'm trying to lose a stone in weight (although that will only take me into the overweight catagory with BMI). I
