I agree with upping your calories...And eat back your exercise calories if you aren't already doing so. Watch out for high sodium foods too!

I was told the healing period will be about 2 weeks and 2 days in the hospital they are breaking my top jaw and possibly my lower jaw depending if it moves with just the top jaw being broken. I will not have to be wired shut just with elastics for my own comfort.

The thing that saves me? WATER it temporarily fills me up to get past the thought that I am hungry when i'm actually not and VEGGIES! I eat them with every meal. Little calories and very filling in my opinion.

I hear you on that! My boyfrien(with whom i live) bought me A&W for supper tonight good thing i burnt a ton of calories at hot yoga and had cheer but i still feel bloated and like i've taken 10 steps back. I like a simple fried rice. 1/4 cup rice (uncooked) 1 tbsp margarine 1cubic inch of feta cheese 1/8 cup chopped onions I cook the rice then turn on the frying pan put onions and margarine in fry then add rice for 10 minutes stirring. For me i've chose something to be my reward something that i really want and will only do it once i am half way then something bigger for the end result.
