  • D6 - Insanity: Fit Test - I went backwards this week 'cause I just wanted to GET STARTED! This was the best fit test I've done for Insanity thus far. Here are my results for week 1. *Note: the scorecard says 2 switch kicks = 1 rep; yet in the video they counted each one as a single rep, so that's what I did. Switch Kicks:…

  • There's a variety of exercises you can do. If power jumps are too high-impact for you I would suggest doing power knees so you can work your abs at the same time (it's in the fit test).

  • Good luck on your first day! The recipes in the nutrition plan are really easy to make and pack a good amount of protein to keep you full.

  • Good luck with the Fit Test! I prefer to workout in the morning (a) because I can get it done before my girls wake up, (b) I'm energized throughout the day, and (c) my performance suffers after a long work day. But the choice is yours.

  • Don't be intimidated! You're not going to be a superstar your first day or week...well you might be. Just go at your pace and work your butt off. Keep pushing play and results will come...guaranteed.

  • If you're only consuming 1200-1300 calories, you didn't read the Insanity nutrition plan. Just follow it step by step to know how many calories you need. Keep in mind, consuming too few calories can actually eat away at muscle instead of fat. Crank up your calories, stay consistent with your workouts, consume 6 small meals…

  • Is it just me or does Insanity make you hungrier than a 14 year old? Remember those days?

  • Just take it one day at a time. Consistency is one of the most important pieces of your transformation with Insanity. That and remembering what made you order the program to begin with. Don't ever forget where you came from. This will push you through the next 60 days...and 30 into Asylum? ;)

  • As a father of 2 girls, my health had been my last priority for many years. Things needed to change because I wanted to be around them for as long as possible and set a good example for them. When I started P90X, my main focus was to become healthy. I didn't take measurements because I didn't care. They weren't important.…
