Keep working. My guess is that if you went back and thought over the time at work (years, probably), you would find many many many more "f******* awesomes" than "f*** ups". Take the "long view."

8/10 6 17.95 in the last week, plus 7 from week one. 24.95 total. I'm half way to 50!

8/6 3 8/7 2.2 8/8 .75 (swim) 8/9 6 8/10

I'll do it, but can't check in. Taking my daughter to Sea World and don't have a phone smart enough to handle any more than logging the calories :)

You say you're really good at starting things. Concentrate on your strengths. Just "start" your lifestyle daily. Or, heck, even hour by hour is a new start. Oh, and 50-60 pounds means you have a LOT of follow through, in my book. That took tons of grit and work.

Done.

Hi. Off to a bit of a slow start. 8/1 -- 2 miles 8/6 -- 4 miles 8/3 -- 1 mile swim (does that count?) If the swim counts -- 43 to go!

Wow! Great job! Have you thought about actually writing down a list of the changes you see and feel -- physical, mental, emotional, spiritual? Almost like a before and after list? I've done that when I've made big life changes. It always seems to work, especially when I go back and look at the list to help "remind" myself.…

I'm in too!

I'm joining today. I ran 2 miles 8/1 -- so 48 more to go!

I've gotten to the point in my life where I don't care if I am eating differently than the people around me. I have to do what's right for me. As for events where someone is cooking, I tell the host I'm trying to watch it, and try to less food than I normally would. Most people are very supportive of weight loss efforts,…

I've recently had the same problem -- I had been hitting the gym, my calories were all good. Not an ounce for for 3 weeks! In fact, I went up. Out of desperation, I got the tape measure out. Much to my delight, the tape measure revealed changes the scale wasn't. I've lost 2 inches off bust, 2 off waist, 1.5 off hips and 1…

The roasted corn! Totally great, even without butter!

You might try ethnic markets. The veggies don't look quite as "perfect" as the ones in major grocery stores; however, they are cheaper, in season, and usually taste better.

I'm in. So's my daughter. She says she's the coach. lol

In!

What about swimming? It is full-body exercise, it will burn tons of calories, and it won't hurt your knees!

I didn't have time to read all posts, but in my skimming I didn't see a suggestion abo taking your measurements too. Been doing this for several weeks, and to date, only lost one pound. HOWEVER, I have lost an inch on waist and upper arm, and half an inch on thigh, bust, and hips. I got totally down on myself 'til I…

Just finished 'em. Broke them up into sets of 75. Any my zumba class was all about abs tonight. Yowzah!

Yay! I love the idea. I'm in!

I'm on the "high" end of 30's, barreling towards 40, but I totally get the issues you're talking about. I'd love to be your friend!

I use chicken or beef broth. Warm helps you feel full. The broth kinda feels like food, and it's only about 15 calories per cube. I've found that it works even better when the weather is hot!

Wow! Thanks so very much for sharing!
