I love the group http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/3462-50-pounds-to-loose I've found it to be a good motivator.

This was my second section. My son ia almost a year old. I went back to work after my 6 week appointment. Other than walking I didn't do much in the way of exercise.
-
MFP is great! My boy will be one next week. I've lost everything I gained with him and am working on the last 20 pounds I gained with the twins.

We use the Parents Choice.

Our scale tends to read higher if I have it on the carpet. Keep it on a flat surface.
-
I have slowly replaced my nightly Dew with water. I find I need to eat something small every couple of hours. I also tend to eat more calories while working than during my other meals.
-
The same question I asked myself 8 months ago. Then I started counting my calories and realized I was eating WAY too many. I've tweaked what I was eating and made huge progress the last 6 months.

I want to use what i have in the cubbard. I'm going to buy stuff to make otherwise.

sounds like fun

I have friends that have the FitBit and love it.. I wonder if it can sync like the pedomoter does.
-
I checked what it says against a couple of other websites that go by your weight. Then went with the one with the lowest number. I figure it is better to be on the low side of exercise and the high side of food when in doubt.

I weighed 190 pounds after having my twins. Got stuck for the longest time at 155 pounds. NEVER looked as great as you do now. Thanks for the inspiration!

How about what you ate when pregnant? I had a craving for Peanut butter and Cheese sandwiches.... My sister had a Hot+cold craving She had a plate of Spaghetti with a bowl shape hole in the middle for Ice Cream!

I have a Texture and Smell fedish. I can't stand certain smells for some reason. Foods that come out like half cooked rice.... kinda crunchy or really mushy like overcooked pasta are just plain nasty. We think I'm allergic to some food colorings becaust I can't drink dark pop or eat some foods without upseting my stomach.…

Great job! I love the NSV so much better than the blasted scale. Keep it up!

Rox... I fear it only works for you becausse it is what your body is used to. You would probably have to eat more for a couple of months before your body adjusts. Have you tried adding 50 calories a day or so every couple of weeks or so to see how you adjust insteat of going with that 700 calorie a day jump?
-
Copy and paste it to all your groups! There is a reason why MFP yells at you whenever you finish the day under 1200 calories. I only wish this was addressed in health class instead of Sex Ed in 5th grade.
-
Exactly what I was going to say. You have met the goal you set for yourself! If you want to lose more, you should set it to 2lb moss a week.
-
Until you get it... I would go with the smaller number of the two
-
i haven't exercised beyond walking. I've lose 48lb in 7 months (28 weeks)
-
I did most of the time. I set mine to no activity because my job fluxuates and I know I'm burning more calories doing things like cleaning or playing with the kids for 15 minutes that I don't always log.

Hi I'm 35. I started MFP after I had my 6th child. I was still gaining weight.... I've been at it 7 months now and have just 10 pounds to go!
-
Muscle. could be a touch of water too though. I would ignore your weight for a couple of weeks even if it automatically weighs you every day.

Exercise.... You burn 20 calories an ounce breastfeeding. I was pumping 30-35 ounces a day which is 600-650 calories a day burned. Add it in as a food to give yourself 500 calories a day extra or as an exercise if you prefer. Definitely eat at least 1800 calories a day.

exercise with the baby..... here are a couple of sites with info. You can search for more.…

First off... No two people will agree on what foods are best for you. I don't eat Banannas because the Mosquitos eat me alive when I do ( they are attracted to something in it just can't remember what it is) I have a friend that constantly preaches at me to cut the Sodium and another that yells about the sugar. Personally,…

I downloaded a free pedomoter to my Cellphone. -I tried 4 diferent ones and went with the one that was the closest to actual number of steps taken ( some count certain movements as steps) There are a couple of apps that Sync to MFP-- Check the Apps tab. I bought a HRM watch- was looking for a pedomoter, but bought the…

Breastfeeding burns 20 calories an ounce. I pumped 30-35 ounces a day. I set my MFP goals to lose 2 calories a week... It told me to eat 1200 calories a day. I got a pedomoter.. told it i weigh 5 pounds less than I do ( I would rather figure my exercise a little low.) i do a lot of walking at work, but it varies by the…

Breastfeeding burns 20 calories an ounce. I was getting 30 to 35 ounces a day so I created an exercise to show exactly what I got.... So MFP said I needed 1200 calories... add 600 for breastfeeding and 300 for my walking/cleaning etc... I was running about 2,000 a day.

And how you feel!! Do you have more energy?
