Bumpity bump!!

I actually wouldn't want to be a bodybuilder... the extremely low bf% doesn't sound fun at all. I'd rather eat all the foodz, lift like the she-hulk, and look pretty good in a bikini.

Thirded on the "do I need it for weight loss" front. But it is great for baking, FYI...... :D

This: :D

Actually, it comes from the soil and water the cows eat. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitamin_B12#Sources We could actually get more B12 from vegetables if we didn't wash the dirt off......

For lunch or snacks, I really like to have string cheese, boiled eggs, soy milk, and homemade protein bars (Jamie Eason's recipes are great, look them up on BodyBuilding.com). I also like her turkey meatloaf muffins. I make a batch at the beginning of the week and have for snacks at work.

Thank you!

Perfect match! Haha

^ Yep! Agree. Also, when you start bumping up in the weights, Medhi has a great article on Stronglifts with suggestions for warming up with sets: http://stronglifts.com/5-rules-to-find-your-perfect-warm-up-weight/

Darwin — you. are. looking AMAZING!! I've been doing much better on my squats too with flatter shoes—thanks for the tip, all!

You're right, I'm definitely not cleaning correctly. I kind of just stand there and rotate my wrists in a semi circle from my hips to my shoulders. Very static, and obviously the wrong thing to be doing. :ohwell: That helps A LOT, visualizing it as jumping to bring the bar higher and get me lower under it. I think the…

Don't do it, it's a trap.

+1. My mom has celiac, and she was always much thinner when she ate wheat (yay for intestines and villi attacking themselves and not being able to absorb nutrients). This whole "wheat makes you fat" argument is kind of funny coming from her perspective.... lol.
-
I had signed up to take a bread-making class this Saturday. They just called to say it is cancelled. :( I'm so sad, I might have to make up for it with an ice cream binge tonight. So, on the contrary, lack of wheat is causing binge eating. :drinker: :glasses:

This is so awesome, haha :)

Ha, I had the same question a week or so ago. :) Starting to realize that even if I don't feel sore, I do feel just.... physically tired the next day.

A turkey sandwich on ciabatta with bleu cheese and arugula, barbecue potato chips, and now chowing down on Jamie Eason's turkey meatloaf muffins. Is there a smiley for "happy tummy"?? :drinker:

That is AWESOME!!!!

Haha, glad I'm not the only one! LOL :)

Ah, I see. I always learn something in here! Thanks!!

My hubby is a really small guy (taller than me, but skinny as heck, and HATES working out), and he's such a trooper... he'll go lift with me once in awhile, and listen to me talking about it all day long... but last week I said, "Hey, did you know they have competitions for lifting? Powerlifting?" And he was like, ".....…

I'm curious too. Bump!

WINNING. lol

So..... punish your body by starving it for 24 hours because of a bad meal? That doesn't help your body. OP: Have a look at my diary. I ate around 3000 calories yesterday, went way over on carbs, had a LOT of sodium, and then ate over my calories today, and had a lot of sodium, and I probably would reflect a "gain" if I…

... she's not trolling, she's shared much valuable info for many people on this forum, including me. I'm willing to bet she genuinely knows more than you.

I was doing that too, until someone here pointed out that each workout (A and B when they are split) is a full-body exercise. Plus, the weights should be increasing, and when it gets harder, you don't want to be doing all the lifts on the same day. Anyway, someone else could probably elaborate better than me! I think Medhi…

Thanks for the validation! Haha, ditch the cut? GLADLY. :) Wheeeee!!!
-
That post was great.... thanks for mentioning it! I hadn't seen it before.... Hmm, making me reconsider the cut..... (which is super easy to reconsider, LOL  )

Ooh, this is great. Thank you! I needed this too. :flowerforyou:
