Not ture.. a weight loss is 80-90% diet and 10-20% exercise. Regardless as long as your deficet you WILL loose weight. I walk for 30 minutes a day. And I'm still loosing weight.

yes but the whole wheat is more caloric dense. More fiber and better for you. It takes your body longer to break it down versus that processed white bread... Calories mean little, it's the KIND of calories.

yes and no. I put on 15 pounds of muscle on a calorie deficit by making sure my protein levels were above 200g's per day. I went from a Lean Body Mass of 100 to a lean body mass of 115 in 6 months. It was unbelieveable, 200g's protein minimum 40g's of fat 150g's of carbs. Gave me a total calorie number of 1360.

Just stick at it girl, I find that I don't need to "eat my exercise calories" I have never heard of this until I came to MFP and I'm a certified trainer and nutritionist. I just don't see the point, if you are eating lets say 1400 calories and then buring 500 a day, there's no need to eat the exercise calories your making…

OOOH! How I hate that. WE ALWAYS have Tim Hortons every Friday, and the customers at my work are starting to bring in bake goodies... And my manager will always try to offer to me, every time and I always answer the same, and then if I do take a muffin or half a doughnut one of the shop guys will say, " you can't have that"

I ususally aim to finish what ever my trainer makes my meal plan for that month.. Normally it can range from 1200 - 1800 depending on what he thinks I need to work on. But my Fiber is normally above 30g's per day so that I know I'm Eating things that are more dense.

Totally not true!! I put cinnamon in my Oatmeal and my Protein Shakes. There's even recipes to put cinnamon on salmon and some fish to keep the sweeter flavour.

I go with all regular plain oats. :) Mixed with 1 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 a banana I have to force feed myself at snack time 3.5 hrs later :)

be carful with drinking RIGHT before and RIGHT after you eat, yes it shown that it will help you feel fuller but it actually dilutes the amount of acid in your stomach and your body isn't able to break down the food as easily when you drink driectly before during and after you eat.

are you eating the "instant" oatmeal with the added flavours? It's loaded with refined sugars that spike your insulin just like sugar cereals. Try Oats (not instant) with cinnamon and some natural peanut butter?
