After losing 120 lbs, I'm doing the same...getting good at hiding it with my clothes. I'd love plastic surgery, but not an option for me now. What I'm trying to do is view it as a victory...a reminder of how far I've come. I'm hardly ever successful at that, but I keep trying to view it like that.

Took two days off because of pain in the top of foot. Ran 5 yesterday and the pain is worse than ever. I think I've narrowed it down to tendonitis, so looking into getting some new shoes, and then taking the next few days doing some strength training and focus on getting into a bike routine. 11/1 - 0 11/2 - 0 11/3 - 3.17…

3.17 miles this morning at 12:37 pace. Which is awesome for me. I'm usually around 13 - 13:30. Starting my 10K training for the Disney Princess 10k in February. I'm super excited.

Been lurking for a while so I'm finally chiming in and setting a goal for 45 miles this month.

Hi Mae, I did the 5DPT a couple of months ago and found it to be super helpful. I wasn't particularly worried about my snacking, but more so that it felt like I was able to eat more than normal. It definitely worked in that I was able to tell my pouch was still restricting nicely and I gave my metabolism a jump start. I…

Congratulations. :)

This is a huge problem for me. Especially on days I work from home. Everything is just so accessible and no one is here so I don't feel like I have to hide. I've tried doing the 5 day pouch test to get back on track, and it seemed to help a bit. But I find the more I exercise the more I tend to "snack". Which isn't totally…

Also great info. I have a membership, so wonder if they'd renew it for that price. I think I'm due to renew soon. I buy my quest bars and PB2 there, so I'm in every week.

Well this is good to know...I thought maybe I was getting bad batches. Thanks for the info!

I'm about 14 months out from surgery and I've been only losing one to two pounds per month, but I am noticing I'm still changing shape. While I don't see the loss on the scale, I see it in the way my clothing fits. I set my goal, and I've got about 15 pounds until I reach it, and don't know if I ever will. I'm partially…

All the time. My husband laughs and thinks it sounds like an alien. It drives me crazy.

Congrats

I'm a big fan of the Syntrax Nectar Lemon Tea. It's the least sweet of all the powders I've tried. I can only stomach a sweet drink a couple times a week, so have unjury chocolate and vanilla powders that I mix with PB or fruit.

Thanks for listening. I am frustrated, but I am also thankful for the good things this surgery had done for me. I guess the closer I get to goal, the more frustrated I get with how slow things seem to be happening!

Add me. 7 months out and feeling fabulous.

I just realized yesterday I need to get some new shoes as all my flats are now slipping off my heels. Losing a shoe size never occured to me when I was preparing for this journey. But I love it!

Good luck!

Good luck tomorrow! The nausea is also something I'm concerned about with surgery as I have a very tough time with anesthesia of any kind, so I'm super nervous about that as well. I'll be interested to see what experiences others have had as well. I'm sure you'll be great tomorrow!

Thanks...it will probably be sometime in mid to late July. My preop req's will be complete at the beginning of June. Then will just need the final approval from insurance, which they said can take up to 30 days, then I'll get my surgery date. I cannot wait!
