Hang in there! The weight doesn't always come off right away, and that's okay. 2 pounds is better than nothing! Keep doing what you're doing, don't get discouraged. Also, make sure you're logging your food as accurately as possible!

I will use protein shakes as a meal replacement from time to time. If I'm on the go, in the morning I'll have one, so that shake is my breakfast. Anything that takes you into a caloric surplus will cause you to gain weight, whether it's apples, hot dogs, or protein shakes. They're fine if you don't have time to make…

Thanks! I as well. I've lost 5 pounds since I started level one. I can't wait to see what I look like when I'm finished with the program!

An 800 calorie deficit seems quite large to me. I personally don't have "cheat" days, I have "cheat" meals. So, for me, one meal a week will be whatever I want, but I don't overeat and still exercise that day. Don't look at it as "cheating" or you will subconsciously shame yourself for it. That's what happened to me. Or,…

I had a lady come in to my work today asking for fried chicken at a discount price. I had to explain to her that we don't sell it at a discount on Sundays because we close at 3. She argued with me and said she got it discounted on Sundays before. I, ever so gently, explained to her that I had been instructed not to sell it…

I also work in a restaurant, so I totally understand where you're coming from. I guess this is why I get so frustrated when she does this also. She worked in a restaurant for a long time, I guess she's forgotten what it's like.

I was prescribed Metformin in 2011 for PCOS, but it made me extremely sick, so I stopped taking it. I'm not diabetic and I personally didn't lose any weight on it.

I just had an epiphany! Try getting a really good cooler, keep your food in it and then when it's time to eat, take it out of your car or wherever you decide to put it. That way you don't have to spend extra money on expensive fast food and can use what you already have in your dorm room.

I'm in the same boat as you, about to start my second semester of college. We have a Starbucks on campus, fried chicken sandwiches, pizza, all kinds of junk everywhere. I don't know what healthier options your school in particular offers, but mine has hummus, side salads, and fruit available, and a salad bar in the…

I'm also restarting. I lost 35 pounds, lost motivation, and gained it all back over the course of 8 months. I'm determined not to enter my twenties fat. I will add you! Take baby steps and don't give up! I'll kick your butt if you kick mine ;)

Add some more things to your workout routine. Squats and lunges are great for your thighs and butt. Give yourself some rest days (there is no need to lift every day) and make sure you're eating plenty of protein. Give yourself some time and be patient :)

I eat the Nature's Own 12g whole grain, no added sugar. It's 70 cals per slice. Tasted great too!

My orange and white Persian (Rascal is his name), will sit on the armrest of the couch when you're eating. He'll put his paw on/under your arm and attempt to move your food in his direction. When I'm sitting on the couch with my dad, he'll sit between us and turn to one of us and meow because he wants attention. If he…

Maybe you just have a high resting heart rate. It could be completely normal. Does anyone else in your family have the same thing? My resting heart rate and blood pressure are both low. My bp normally runs about 105/55, but it is hereditary and I feel fine. I would suggest seeing a doctor, though.
