Eat more protein and add more fat to your diet. It will keep you feeling full and not so hungry.

I have more energy and I am able to mentally focus better when I am on very low carbs....less than 25 grams per day. I have tons of energy...even at 5am when I work out in a fasted state. When I eat carbs above 50 grams, I am constantly hungry and always tired.

I eat between 12noon and 8pm. I drink black coffee, diet soda, and water during fasting hours. I also supplement with BCAAs. So far, it's worked out really well.

I've been on keto for about 18 weeks and have lost 30 lbs. I did keto about two years ago and had good results, however this time around my results are even better. One of the things that has made a big difference is working out 3 x week (CrossFit). I've also incorporated intermittent fasting (IF) as well as supplementing…

If you look at food labels and compare low/reduced fat processed foods to their full fat version you can easily see an increase in added sugars.

The human body is not as simple as you make it seem. If the above works for you, then great. I have what works for me. Everyone has to find what works best for their situation.

You really shouldn't tell someone not to avoid carbs unless you know more about them....like any health conditions. It's also condescending to tell them to stop trying so hard. We all have our struggles and health issues and have to do was works best for us.

If you are getting your sugars from low fat processed foods, you should reduce the consumption of those type of foods. When they reduce fat, they add sugar to those products. If you are getting your sugars from fruits, veggies, and yogurt...etc. then it's not so bad. For many years, I focused on my calories. I ate low fat…

Everyone has what works for them. For me super low carbs, under 25 grams per day, makes me feel the best. I have lots of energy, don't feel bloated and sluggish, and best of all never hangry...lol. The trick with any dietary plan is to make it one that is sustainable for your lifestyle. I am a pre-diabetic so it is best…

Thank you all for your feedback. I did join the Cross Fit gym in my neighborhood and attended my second class this past Saturday. I am sore today, but not as bad as last week. My goal is to work out 3 days per week.

I use heavy cream in my coffee and usually have three cups a day.

I agree...you need to increase your fat intake and lower your protein a bit. The above keto calculators will help you with your macros.

I struggled with all the same things when I started keto, but once they noticed I was losing weight then no one bothers me anymore!

I have been fighting the same battle every weekend. It all starts with a few drinks, which turns in many drinks, and then the munchies! I've still managed to lose weight although I would probably lose more if I was more disciplined over the weekends. Even if I have a bad weekend, I make sure I stay 100% on target with my…

Jan, you diary looks good. I would say you need to eat more. Eat all your calories each day, even if you go over a little bit. It sounds counter intuitive, but you may be eating too little.
