  • Thanks for the tips! I don't know for sure, but I think it will be kind of a slow paced class, just based on what I have seen as far as participants go. I hope it will burn a good amount of calories though and will be a worthwhile workout. I hurt too much trying to do the Zumba classes on land and I think it would be fun!
  • No, it's water soluble and will flush out of your body within a few hours anyways. If you take vitamin C tablets and take too much (I think it would be near impossible to OD on eating too much vit. C) you can get a stomach ache and diarrhea.
  • Interesting topic here, as I was just wondering the same thing. I had cut out wheat products (thereby cutting out most of the carbs I ate on a regular basis besides fruit/veggies) and lost weight faster and felt much better (wheat allergy, so I felt much better getting those products out) physically. • I am a mom of 2 as well and have the same "mini goal" as well. Today is the day I was going to get more serious about this, since we would like to have more kids as well and that just isn't going to happen until I take some of this weight off! Feel free to add me as a friend. I could use some extra buddies on here to help…

I was on it for about 5 years and went off it about 8 months ago. I had a lot of side effects from it that never went away until I was off it completely. If you've been on it for 4-5 months…
  • I had a membership there a while back and the biggest problem I had was boredom. I got sick of the same exercises, same music. I went there religiously for several months and did not lose one pound or lose any inches. I worked as hard as I could on the machines and the cardio stations in between, but it was hard for me to…
  • I have a mild wheat allergy and gluten intolerance, and I think it has contributed to weight gain to a point. When I cut wheat products out of my diet, I do lose weight a lot faster and feel much better overall. A South Beach type diet is what worked best for me when I was able to stick to it.
