Another dressing to try is a little rice vinegar and sesame oil.

One or two Graham crackers and a cup of tea. Yum.

Coach's Oats from Costco is an awesome, hearty oatmeal!! We love it.

When I'm having a hungry day, one of my favorite filler-uppers is fresh veggie soup. A couple of cups of water, 2 tsp. powdered chicken bouillion and lots of non-starchy veggies such as a little onion, celery, zucchini, kale, spinach, tomatoes, and mushrooms. Season with garlic powder, basil, oregano, thyme, and parsley.…

Good for you! Hiking is FUN! It's one of our favorite activities and it's so good for you. However--IMPORTANT SAFETY POINT! Unless you live in a highly urban environment, Do NOT hike trails with your iPod on. If there are rattlesnakes where you hike, you cannot hear the warning rattle with your iPod on!!! This applies to…

I like to mix in left over veggies from dinner. Sometimes there's just a little bit of something left so I save it for my salad. My favorite are leftover grilled veggies! Also, black olives are a nice addition. My favorite dressings: Asian style: A teaspoon of sesame oil and a tablespoon of rice vinegar, dash of ginger and…

So true... As for where to find it... You can get buffalo burgers at Trader Joe's. I've cooked them as burgers or crumbled them up to make other dishes where you might use ground beef or turkey. I used them to make Cottage Pie and it wonderful.

This looks yummy. Buffalo is great! Low in fat, satisfying... But Tom, I think the name might turn people off on this recipe. Maybe something like Hearty Prairie Stew.

I agree too. This time I'm keeping it off. When you lose it too fast, you don't change your habits, and that is the most important thing of all.

Sometimes when I'm tired of water I drink unsweetened ice tea made from teas that do not have any caffeine. My favorite is a blend of Celestial Seasons Peach Passion and Raspberry Zinger. It's wonderfully refreshing and there are no artificial sweeteners, which I try to avoid.

I find this approach works for me. When we go out, my hubby will order fries and if I just have one or maybe two, I'm a happy camper and am perfectly satisfied with my salad.

Cottage cheese is good for a little protein too!

Here's a great recipe that is yummy hot or cold. I especially like it cold in the summertime. Zucchini Soup Slice up zucchini and put it into a sauce pan. Just barely cover the contents with chicken broth (or water and the appropriate amount of chicken bouillon). Bring to a boil and simmer until zucchini is tender. Drain…

So that's what it is. I've hit a plateau. I am so frustrated! :explode: But I'm hanging in there. It's got to break soon. My exercise routine is making a difference with my stamina and ability to hike farther and tackle more strenuous trails, but my weight has been holding steady for the last month.

I really like Leslie Sansone's Walk at Home - Walk Away Your Waistline! I usually do this workout three times a week. The whole thing takes just under an hour and you "walk" three miles. It's not just walking in place, there are kicks and knee lifts, etc. Plus, there are strength training moves with an elastic band belt…
