Cabbage Buffalo Soup

I updated my Food For Pleasure blog today with this tasty recipe. I was blown away by it when I was introduced to this soup this past weekend so naturally I MUST share it with everyone :smile:

    This looks yummy. Buffalo is great! Low in fat, satisfying... But Tom, I think the name might turn people off on this recipe. Maybe something like Hearty Prairie Stew.:tongue:

    LoL hmmmm, but that may turn some people off to so I would just be swapping interests. Oh how does one please all? :happy:

    Buffalo is excellent, however in many states it's very expensive. I personally can't afford it, hell I can barely afford chicken here.

    You can always use lean ground cow beef in place of it.

    As for where to find it...

    You can get buffalo burgers at Trader Joe's. I've cooked them as burgers or crumbled them up to make other dishes where you might use ground beef or turkey. I used them to make Cottage Pie and it wonderful.
