Have 2 bikes here C50T which I ride most and a Honda CBR 250 which I started on. Love riding and have been lucky enough this year to be able to ride off and on all year. It was 70 here this past Saturday so was out and riding. Ready for the warmer weather to stay so I can get morning riding in.

If you have not looked into them may want to consider the Motoactiv. I love mine and my wife ended up having to get a garmin and fitbit to get all the features the Motoactiv has. Down side to it is battery life I have to charge mine every other day but it uses the same usb style charger as my cell phone so not a big deal.

For trails you can look into the Garmin GPSMAP 62 series. I have 1 of the Garmin touch screen devices I use for trails but the GPSMAP 62 group does have actual buttons that he may be more comfortable using.
