Howdy! I'm looking to lose atleast 20 (preferrably more), but I'm more concerned about visual results than what the scale says.

I found that prelogging my food first thing in the morning really helps too.

What really bothers me is when I'm walking down the street and people are honking their horns at me. I CAN'T STAND IT. And I'm not even that in shape or really that good looking either. Does not compute.

I don't care what way you cut it- if you are using the TDEE method you should NOT be eating your exercise calories back (although I am guilty of this sometimes). You should be eating the same exact amount of calories every day regardless of your activity level. Period.

Ok I'm gonna go out on a limb here- from what I see, I don't think you are eating enough! Have you heard of TDEE? I lost 20 lbs over the summer by just walking. I was walking about 3-5 miles 5 times a week with my dog. He and I both loved it!! :)

1700-1800 cal a day, with an hour or more of vigorous exercise 3-5 times a week.

I eat back 50-75% of my exercise calories...sometimes all of them if I'm super hungry.

Congratulations on making it to your second week! I had a delicious breakfast this morning: Mashed avocado on honey wheat toast, with 1 slice of provolone cheese, and 3 slices tomato, topped off with a fried egg. 382 calories, and pretty filling too! I'm going to add you!

Invest in a HRM! It will save your life. I just got one this week, and I'm already logging my calories burned so much more accurately.

My goal is to run 3 miles a week. That's incredibly realistic and reachable--and reaching that goal will give me incentive to go above and beyond ^_^ Hopefully doing much more but atleast 3 miles a week.

I don't think there is anything wrong with what you're eating, just exercise and stay within your calorie limit. I'm not much of a clean eater...I like my oreos!!
