Good luck. You can always drop a bit of calories before those dinners or try to fast a bit on those days. That is generally what i "try".

Anyone else a huge proats lover?

While genetics may effect metabolism a little it isn't a lot. Most people fall within their expectated metabolic rate. Often what you see, and I already see it, is most people will aggressively cut calories from the beginning. This often then leads to people not being compliant and coming off the diet for cheat meals or…

That is certainly true. While my weight gain is largely in my stomach, my chest, arms and legs are more defined.

Several weeks of seeing weight gain has my debating going back to keto to control my cravings! I am at 170 again which has been several years since i was previously at that weight. It has not helped that I have dealt with a lot of work issues, long hours and travel. Damn you margaritas!!

No form of creatine has been shown superior to basic/cheap creatine monohydrate. Essentially, you are only appealing to marketing. https://youtu.be/Qi6dHZzNvRo

Generally low electrolytes. Did you drastically cut sodium and/or carbs? Essential, more salt, magnesium and potassium.

Sounds like you are fairly on track with diet. Have you been on a structured lifting routine before or just gone to a gym? Do you have goals outside of fat loss? Overall, diet will help fat loss, but the exercise program will provide shape. The sticky has a lot of good programs, which is where you should start. How days…

PEScience is my favorite and is only 120 calories. ON, Body tech, amd Quest are also good and similar calories
-
Yea, i am about the same due to work travel

What i am going to attempt to do it cut up until Christmas eve.

All things G.Hughes. Very low calorie and delicious.

I completely understand. Work and personal travel has prevented me from hitting my physique goals this year

The single most important thing to improving body composition is a well structured lifting routine. Yes, anything can help, but one structured around the fundamentals of progressive overload will yield the best results. The below link can help.…

I always carry 2-3 lbs from heavy lifting. But its not fat, so it's not a big deal to me.

Does over eating at Disney count as a bulk? If so i am bulking

Prescience, Quest, Optimum Nutrition, and Ghost are my current favorites. I also run BodyTech (vitamin shoppe brand) when they have their crazy sales

Often, inadequate calories (or very low calorie),.low protein or inadequate vitamins and minerals can lead to hair loss. How much protein are you eating
-
Creatine won't effect fat loss. Its an intercellular saturator. So it will draw in water to your muscles.

To add, we have found Electrophysiologist or University Cardiologist tend to have greater awareness. My wife tried to get into the NIH and Johns Hopkins university for treatment without success. They both recommended the Mayo Clinic.

You are correct. There is really no one best way to reduce chronic inflammation outside of weight loss, exercise and addressing known and unknown food intolerances through elimination and working with a medical team. Overall, lean proteins, oils fish, whole grains, low fat dairy, and plenty of fibrous plants is a solid…

PSMF is an advanced dieting technique that is mainly protein and it sucks (from experience). And should be done for short periods of time with refeeds.
-
Absolutely. Increase food volume, waste, increased sodium and if it was carbs, glycogen replenishment. The bigger question is why start with such low calories

If you are tight on finances, then drop the supplements. They support the 1% in terms of goals. Focus on total protein (.8-1g/lb of lbm or weight). Look at bulk buying eggs, chicken, ground beef,etc.. if you can offer whey, then great. And then get on a structured lifting routine, like one of the free ones posted earlier.

I get them often when doing Keto diets if my sodium drops below 5000mg a day. So i salt everything, but also take an electrolyte drink. Keeping in mind that dehydration comes from loss of electrolytes. So if you drink a lot of water and don't consume adequate sodium, you can become more dehydrated or you can over flush…

What? Where are you getting this information? Ketosis is a process driving ketone production from severe carb restriction. It doesn't deny CICO as demonstrates by multiple metabolic ward studies. And out of curiosity, what do you think GH does? OP, as a person who has done and regularly cycles keto diets, there is nothing…

If you want a pre-workout, I'd recommend a better one, like Prekaged by Kaged Muscle, Legion Athletics, Outworked, Redcon Total War, Genius Pre-workout, or Cutler Nutrition. They are all adequately dosed. I am currently running Legions non caffeinated (i am a habitual caffeine drinker, so I don't need anymore). The bigger…

The protein shake is fine if you account for the calories. Mine is a 1 scoop whey/casein mix, 50g greek yogurt, 3 tbsp sweetener, 1 cup ice, 3 g xantham gum and some times 5g unsweetened cocoa powder. From a person who uses a pre-workout, its highly unnecessary for the majority of people. If you are at a point where you…

I certainly can understand what you are going thru. My wife has POTS and has dealt with many health issues on top of that. There were 8 straight years of surgeries and hospitalizations to include 14" removed from her colon, and a ruptured gallbladder, which caused pancreatitis. Now, since then, she has come a long way but…

BCAAs are completely a waste. Literally zero benefit. The pre-workout isn't dosed right, especially since the primary benefits of a pre-workout are in the caffeine, but also the Citrulline Malate at 6-8g or L-Citrulline at 4-6g, and Beta Alanine at 2.5-3.2g. and ON doesn't hit the mark. Unless either creams use Yohimbine,…
