My loss is really slow too. I've lost 11lbs in about two months. But this time I've been exercising which I've never done before. I'm trying not to get discouraged, but every other time I've tried to lose weight it's been with shakes or something else extreme and (IMO) unsustainable. So I've always lost weight very…

I've just finished week 8 and there is no way I'll be running the full 5k by next week. I'm doing about 2.5 in the half hour, about 3.4k including warm up and cool down. I just wanted to thank you for posting this thread. My 5 year old son has autism and I am really interested in your experiences. As for your question, my only suggestion would be to see an Occupational Therapist. I'm always stunned by the wide knowledge they have of so many sensory issues. Good luck!!

I'll be 39 in a couple of weeks, and I have a 13 year old daughter and a 5 year old son. I need to lose about 55lbs- can I still play? Feel free to add me, anyone.

I have never run in my life until starting couch to 5 k. I did week 5 day 1 this morning! I'm doing it on treadmill, and I'm really, really slow, but I'm starting to enjoy it and I cannot believe the pride and achievement I feel! Add me if you like :)

PLEASE see your doctor straight away. Do you feel faint at other times? For example if you stand up quickly? This could be a blood pressure issue and I can't stress enough the importance of getting it checked out.

I'm on week 2 day 3 of one of the C25K apps. I have avoided running all my life but I'm surprised how much I'm enjoying this. I have a treadmill so I just run on that. When I feel more confident I'll take it outside.
