  • Bump for later...would like to check out site that was mentioned...thanks for the input :)
  • I too am getting back on the bandwagon that I have fallen off of so many times....I keep gaining and losing the same 20 lbs or so. I am logging everyday and exercising 5 - 6 times a week. Feel free to add me as I am looking for friends to help keep me motivated. I too am a mom and am trying very hard to "fit it all in". ;-)
  • Really enjoyed your list...some I already had done and others I can't wait to try! Thanks again!
  • Great job! You look fabulous....
  • I would really like to join this challenge as well! I am on W2D6 and have already been running for 3 min at a time with 1.5 half walk...I have been looking for a group to bounce ideas around and motivate each other! Glad that I was able to find one...please feel free to add me!
  • I am on W2D2 and I am already running 3 min at a time with 1.5 min rest....I just can't believe that I am actually running again! My back is killing me and I did have a little cramp in my hip tonight, but I powered through...I am enjoying how it makes feel after...Starting to feel a difference in my body already......feel…
  • That is so interesting...I guess that I was 12.5% bigger than I was.....
  • I actually started on Tuesday, April 9. So today was Day 3, level 1 and all I can say is I am extremely sore! I didn't really want to press play, but made myself and felt better after, but my hamstrings and legs are screaming! I will be doing 5 days of Level 1, taking a rest day on Sunday and 6 days on Level 2. I am…
  • Great Job!! Good for you..if you don't mind me asking, what did you do for exercise?
  • You should really take photos and take measurements....that will certainly help motivate you more than the foolish scale! The same things happens to me, but then I compare measurements and am pleasantly surprised! Keep up the good work....if you are following their diet, it will only be a matter of time before the scale…
  • Go to Kalynskitchen.com They have some great recipes that are quick and easy and most importantly, keep you from getting bored...good luck!
  • Too many carbs, especially when I eat really close to or over my limit! Even when I make whole grain or other good choices, when I've eaten something at every meal, I feel bloated!
  • Great job! Good for you!!
  • I am currently back at Phase 1. Have been doing South Beach since mid January and really enjoy the program. Was sick with flu for couple weeks and at nothing but toast and crackers and was starting to get some cravings....went back to Phase 1 on Monday. I have been using a website called Kalynskitchen.com for some great…
  • I would have to say try eliminating some of the bread you are eating and replace it with salad/veggies or try wrapping your sandwiches with lettuce instead. Also, you may want to increase your good fats such as nuts, olive oil, etc. Hopefully, that will work for you.
  • Way to go, girl! You look fabulous! I can certainly relate to your story. I am starting RI30 on Monday. I am so encouraged and excited to begin after reading you story and seeing your results!
  • A guy that works with my husband is doing it and has lost a considerable amount of weight, however, if you do not make it a lifestyle change and go back to eating the same as you were before, you will gain the weight back. This is true of any "diet". I personally am working on week 3 of the south beach diet and have had…
  • That's awesome! I know what you mean...even though I am very athletic, I am so out of shape, it was hard to get back into it. The more I try new ways to exercise, the more I amaze myself at what I can do. Keep up the good work!
  • Really try watching your carb intake and making sure you are at or just below your limit. Also, try to get your carbs from good sources and stay away from your processed foods....that should help along with the exercise. Good luck as I am attempting to do the same thing from 2 C-sections. Just beginning, but already…
  • That was fabulous! Truly inspirational! It makes me feel great about the milkshake I turned down today! Keep up the good work....look forward to posting my success picture!
  • Great job! Keep up the good work!
  • I completely agree! Have been doing it almost 2 weeks and feel great! I now know much more about my body after doing much research about this diet and then implementing it. I have not missed any of the "forbidden" carbs and look forward to adding back in some fruit, whole grains, and some milk, but I am going to pay closer…
  • I have been doing it for almost 2 weeks and feel great! Down 6 lbs since my week one weigh in. Can certainly feel a difference in my jeans and the way they fit. Can't wait to get on scale on Saturday and check my measurements as well. I haven't had any cravings either. I have been making many recipes from a site called…
  • Yes, but be careful with the amount of carbs that you are eating, making sure that you are getting more "good"carbs than "bad" carbs and staying within you limit.
  • You look fantastic! great job!
  • Great job! You can see the difference for sure! Keep up the good work!
  • I have to agree with you. I would lose weight and not really see a change to the shape, but I have to say after staying away from a lot of "processed carbs" and sticking with lots of veggies, lean meats, beans, and watching my sugar, I have noticed a difference in the 6 lbs I lost, versus other times when I've yo yo'd at…
  • Great job! Feels good when the scale starts to move again...keep up the good work!
