I just started keto but I've done other low-carb diets in the past. For me, I have a hard time getting more than 1500-1800 calories when avoiding carbs because I'm not eating calorie-dense foods (bread, pasta, potatoes, etc). I used to eat 16:8, but that's pretty much how I prefer to eat - not a breakfast person. If I were…

Well, if you're feeling uncomfortable after eating three cups of food in a sitting, I would say it is because you are eating three cups of food in a sitting.

How is "do you lift?" automatically an attempt to pick someone up? I get it, the OP is cute, but maybe he was actually making small talk about something he thought was a mutual interest. If the Walmart patron had been another woman, would she have assumed that she was trying to pick her up?

The number one rule for clean eating on MFP is don't talk about clean eating on MFP. Someone will soon comment that you're an idiot for not eating ALL THE FOOD. I try to eat clean, for no other reasons than calorie and nutrient density.

I typically follow the 16:8 IF protocol, but mainly just because it suits the way I eat during the week - I don't eat breakfast because I don't have the time, I have heard all sorts of reasons why people who IF are successful, but I think it's simpler than that. Eating within a smaller window results in a calorie deficit.

I drink the GNC Lean 25 shakes at lunch more for convenience than anything, but I find that a shake with 170 calories with 25g of protein and 3g fiber to be more filling than a calorically equal amount of soup - which is typically higher in carbohydrates and lower in protein.

Yeah, I'd have never pulled that off.

I also couldn't figure out why the lat pulldown bar wouldn't come down in our work gym. I checked the weight, dropped it a bit, pulled again, and nothing. I realized after a lot of confusion that the bar was racked in the storage hooks. I don't know how many people saw that, but they were good sports and pretended not to.

I had a similar episode in the Marina Bay Sands hotel gym in Singapore. I was taking the barbell off of the stand to place it on the floor for deadlifts. I must have grabbed it off-center because the left 45 slipped off, made a bang, the barbell flew up, and the right 45 fell off with another bang. Luckily, the only people…

Cheating is a betrayal of trust. For some, that's penetration. For others, it's a kiss.

Why do people feel the need to provide a negative comment regarding a strategy that they're not using? I don't do the 5:2 diet either, but I understand that it is a strategy that works for a lot of people because it offers a bit of flexibility. And I certainly wouldn't troll their discussions to make snarky comments.

I get the same but it's much less frequent now with a flat stomach than it was with a beer belly.

What the heck kind of locker room has a nekkid parade? I don't parade around anywhere in the nude. Parades require fancy dress.

My observation based on my experiences in the locker room is that it tends to be a generation gap. Old guys spend their time in the buff, having conversations, watching television, grooming, etc. The younger guys tend to be more modest, keeping a towel on. This is based on time at the YMCA, a 24hr Fitness, and the gym at…

Big'n. I don't even know if that's how it is spelled, but it sounds like "biggin". A waiter in a Catfish King called me that at my heaviest. I was like, "what the eff did he just call me?"

I've got: We are currently checking cable connections between the modems and the umbilical termination in the reel.
