Drinks, especially soft drinks, are also notorious for that... why is the damn serving size the smallest (and sometimes most difficult) thing to find?!

I swear by my hemp protein powder shakes. I'm not lactose intolerant, per se, but milk is disgusting... so I use unsweetened almond milk in my shakes, along with frozen berries for thickening, flax meal, and PB2 (which offers even more protein), and some stevia for sweetening. It's a damn tasty shake, and helps get me to…

OH GOD... I do this all the time. I will play a song over and over — sometimes for a few days, sometimes longer. I usually wear it out and then don't listen to it for a while, though. It's weird because I never know WHY, it's just something about a song will cause an itch in my brain, and the only way to scratch it is to…

I tend to stick to fiction, but one of my favorite non-fiction books is The Hiding Place by Corrie tenBoom, which is all about her experience during the Holocaust. The Ancestor's Tale by RIchard Dawkins is also really good according to my old roommate, but it's likely you've already read that.

So awesome! Congrats to you! =]

Perfect! Thank you =]

So for arm are you just finding the widest part of the bicep?

Can you link us to your post, please?!

I've also been struggling with this issue... wish I could offer explanation! Hopefully someone else will =]

The most beautifully executed evil plan! Also, didn't the movie The Five-Year Engagement have a psychological experiment with stale donuts and that eating them is correlated to feeling ****ty about yourself and not going anywhere in life? lol CLASSIC

What's your fiber intake been like this week?

Quinoa pasta and Bob's Red Mill products have helped me get through the initial shock of going gluten-free (I'm about 6-7 weeks in). I can tell you that, for someone who felt they had a good memory prior to going gluten-free... my memory and general clear-headedness has at least doubled since making the switch! I don't…

Yeah, and his blanket statements surely work for everyone! Absolutely ridiculous...

FYI: There are high-protein, no sugar bars called Think Thin. The chunky peanut butter (my favorite and "healthiest" from my perspective) have 20g protein, 8g fat, but only 1g fiber, so not the very best, but definitely an improvement on the Clif bar. At Trader Joe's here they're about 1.69 each, not sure if that is more…

more like crazy *kitten*-pills, amirite?

Same for me! Just finished week 5 today! Granted, I've been doing them on my knees for this run, next time I think I'm going to switch to 1 knee, and then hopefully when I finish that one I'll be able to move up to real ones, etc. etc. =]]]

I eat ~1600 cals/day + exercise cals and have an open diary. Still working on my sodium intake, but feel free to add me if you want =]

I always rescue! <<< This is my little buddy Blaze, a Chi-Rat. I've actually only had him for two weeks, but we're already the best of friends.

Wow! That's a really good point. Though I think calculating calories is still really useful, so that it's easy to track how many extra calories you have if you don't have your exercise included in your activity level.

We all have to start somewhere! Kudos to you for listening to that "Aha!" moment and deciding to make some changes. You will feel better simply because you're taking the time to take care of yourself, everything else will happen as a result of this. Feel free to add me if you'd like! =] For me, it was when I was having…

There are definitely uphill variations of the different walking speeds in MFP, but I highly recommend getting an HRM, it takes the guesswork out of it!

I can completely relate, and I'm 3 years older than you. I tend to find myself feeling seriously lacking because of my scant romantic history. Sometimes I get into a funk where I worry about where I'm at (or not at, really) relationship-wise, but generally I try to just take care of myself, and try to keep a positive…
