I'm 5'3" and been working at this for about 3 months, been on MFP for just over 2 months. SW: 250 lbs. / 247 lbs. (MFP) CW: 232 lbs. GW: 150 lbs.

I went for a while with my mom when I was a lot younger, and before that I used to go to Alateen when my parents were at their ACA (Adult Children of Alcoholics) meetings, so I've been around 12-step stuff since I was little. I found it helpful but I didn't stick with it because it just isn't my style. MFP has been working…

You can still use the app on your phone if you're not connected, it just won't be able to search beyond the offline database for food (which just means you'll have to pick more generic stuff). Also, it won't count your days logged in until you sync to the online database, which sucks. I just recently went camping and it…

THIS! And also what someone else mentioned about more protein and regular exercise... those plus some B vitamins and you'll be humming along.
-
Are you taking any B-vitamin supplements? You might want to ask your nutritionist about a B-complex supplement because I started taking one and pretty much IMMEDIATELY started noticing more energy! Also, you might want to try and cut out as much wheat and wheat-gluten from your diet, as I've experienced (and read) that…

I'm starting mine with a friend next Monday!

definitely shirts fitting better... and general feeling of slimness (even if it's not obvious really, I just kinda FEEL better).

I'm 28 and 5'3" and I started at 250, currently at 233, and my current goal is 180. I'll probably eventually try for 160, but I doubt I'm gonna worry about going much lower. My intention is to have a decent amount of muscle.

celery with hummus — tasty and really nutritious!

Grew up in the IE (Moreno Valley), but now I'm up in Marina (next to Monterey Bay) for school.

I love my Trader Joe's green tea, and I add Stevia to mine. I make a gallon pitcher of cold-brew every few days, and I probably drink between 2–5 cups of it a day. It's the best soda replacement ever!

Best* –Trader Joe's Uncured Chicken Hot Dogs –Trader Joe's original hummus –Calbee Snappea Crisps –Trader Joe's Green Tea –Trader Joe's Quinoa and Black Bean Chips –Trader Joe's uncured peppered turkey bacon –Simply Lite Low-Carb Dark Chocolate with Almonds –frozen chicken tenderloins (great for making strips or nuggets)…

If you're trying to cut down on sugar, then I recommend Stevia as a substitute. If you don't really need to cut down, then regular natural sugar is fine in moderation. =]

J stands for judging, but not in the traditional sense. It's opposite is P or Perceiving. "Myers and Briggs added another dimension to Jung's typological model by identifying that people also have a preference for using either the judging function (thinking or feeling) or their perceiving function (sensing or intuition)…

ENFPs and ENTPs are considered to be the most introverted of extroverts (there is an ongoing debate over who is moreso, us ENTPs swear we are, while I've known many-a ENFP to claim THEY are the most introverted extroverts... lol) Basically it just means that you aren't SUPER extroverted, and that you are more balanced in…

According to the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Inventory) I am an ENTP, which means I'm extroverted, or that I get my energy from interacting with the external environment. This is true for me, but I am not a classical extrovert. I prefer small kickbacks with a few close friends, and I like my alone-time, so I tend to think of…

Upon doing a little more searching, the graphic was created based on info found at this website: http://plucodes.com/ That website is for the International Federation for Produce Standards, so I think that it would count for the UK, but I don't see anything that specifically states that.

I'd nom my way to fitness! I think Pop Tarts are one of the treats I miss most. It'd also be awesome if they could make a gluten-free Pump Tart... Even better, why not forget about Kelloggs and come up with your own recipe, then do a Kickstarter campaign to get the company off the ground... I'd pledge for sure!

well depending on how big the serving is and how much you make, it might be 1 or it could be more than 1, and you can use decimals if it makes an uneven amount (e.g. 4.5 servings). Does that answer your question?

I wake up early so that I can get in my exercise. Also, I'm looking into building a standing desk modification for my desk here at work. Sitting is pretty bad for us, so I want the option to be able to work while standing. I'm not sure if you have that option, but if you can get the company to get a standing desk thing,…

Feeling nauseated/dizzy from drinking diet coke, and then subsequently phasing it out with lime flavored sparkling mineral water. Definitely an ah-ha moment, since I researched why I would feel so crappy when having the diet coke, and well, it's been 3 months or so and I've changed SO MUCH in my life. The combination of…

The Giver (not technically a classic, but others have mentioned it) White Fang The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn Tom Sawyer Sherlock Holmes and the Hounds of the Baskervilles The Time Machine (this one actually creeped me out pretty badly) 1984 Lord of the Flies Oliver Twist The Tell-Tale Heart The Cask of Amontadillo…

You might want to wait until you're done breast feeding. I have no experience or proof, but it would make sense to me that since you are still doing that you probably have a decent amount of milk weight that you can't really do much about until you stop. It probably isn't 10lbs worth, but it probably is a decent amount.…

This is a scientifically proven fact.

My nutritionist suggested I go gluten free after my second ear infection in less than 2 months (adults should rarely get ear infections, apparently... and excess mucus is a main cause, and gluten is a mucus-causer). I had already been avoiding most refined flour and stuff, but would still eat meatballs and other things…

Actually, it can be used either way ;D http://public.wsu.edu/~brians/errors/myriad.html BAHAHAHAHAHAAHA "Let's eat, Grandma" vs "Let's eat Grandma" — punctuation, it saves lives.
