Hope it all went ok. The weather is miserable today. Tail end of Storm Angus I think. I'm doing the London Winter 10k (my first one) in Feb and am dreading the possibility of rain.....or snow.

For me they are the very last bits of fat to leave but they do when I get to a low enough weight. For me at 5'4" that's 126-8 lbs. No exercise did it, I just had to reduce calories. I've heard that we are genetically predisposed to losing/gaining fat in certain areas so your results may be different.

Same here. My love handles are the last to go and only when I hit the magic 128 lb mark but the inner thighs just love me too much to ever leave me. Am tempted by the lipo/laser solution too.

Now if you'd asked about foxes and squirrels!? They're all over the place, come right up to my kitchen door to look at me. And I'm in London, not the countryside at all.

True, I can stuff half a protein bar in my mouth as I get changed.

England here too. I've seen one once about 30 yrs ago. It was adorable but covered in fleas. They are becoming much rarer now, possibly endangered and they've been on the news lately regarding this. http://www.hedgehogstreet.org/pages/help-hedgehogs.html

Hey, London calling here too.

Circuit training? Then add the minutes till you get the calories count you burned.

I like this one, just say "Nope" . If they persist look them in the eye and ask how much they weigh ;-) I think if you reply with detail you've allowed them to think they can keep on butting in with unwanted critiques. My dad told my mum my weight loss had made me look like a man. My husband and I disagree so who cares. I…

I think you really need to speak to a doctor about this. It could be anything - alopecia, stress related, diet related, fungal. Only a doctor can tell you and hopefully help.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Be patient, I could only manage 2mins the first time i tried to run in May but can now run for 40mins . Am trying to get ready for a 10k run next year I used the Couch 2 5k programme (as mentioned above) to develop slowly. So far no injuries. I have issues with my joints being a bit hypermobile and always thought running…

It's 100ml per serving, so the cals are for 100mls of squash diluted as per instructions with water. You would never drink it neat. So calories are negligible. Here in UK we have a lot of 'no added sugar' fruit squash. Although all my bottles here say 9cals per 100ml concentrate and yours doesn't. It can't be per serving…

[ Lassiela[/quote]In the other thread you were talking about the importance of cooking whole meals compared to buying ready meals. Now you are saying that defrosting vegetables (which can be done in the microwave in no time, or cooked from frozen) takes too long? I'm glad my comments are amusing and ridiculous to you,…

Or real Greek Frappe, which can be made without sugar or milk for zero calories. Just coffee (shaken or mixed , alone or with sugar and a small amount of water to make the foam) then add water, milk if you like and ice. It'll look like a glass of Guiness. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0QsOOHZ5DA

“This parrot is no more. It has ceased to be. It's expired and gone to meet its maker. This is a late parrot. It's a stiff. Bereft of life, it rests in peace. If you hadn't nailed it to the perch, it would be pushing up the daisies. It's rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible. This is an ex-parrot.”

This is Life of Brian :-) And by the way "crucifixion's a doodle" and "I'm Brian and so is my wife"

I eat this one, 2 rashers = 96 calories grilled not fried. Maybe look around a bit more at different types, cut fat off etc? Typically most rashers seem to be 200cals per 100g, depends on thickness of rasher. http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=259703288

Loved Station Eleven, one of my favourite reads of 2015. Have since bought it for 3 other people. Just finished Game of Thrones book 1. Currently reading Frankenstein by Mary Shelley.

Yep another one here that spent Valentines Day watching Super Sunday. Spurs fan but would be happy to see Leicester win, it's been great this season seeing the big spenders fall.

Can't recommend it as I don't own one but just for your information, M&S are currently selling all Fitbits at 30% off for their Black Friday sales, that makes the Fitbit Charge HR £66.49, if you fancied that one. Plus free delivery as it's over £30. Seems about the best price around at the moment.
